The Jsarins




This, is a Jsarin. A species not fitting in any classification known to man. It's not a dragon, nor a reptile of any sorts. No.... the dragon species is way over-used for a excuse. No, this species is something new. A alien to our world, if you put it. The Jsarin are a simple race. They have vocal calls, have their own alphabet, have craftsmen, train, fight, teach and study in the knowledge of the world. Jsarin are the only 'True' magic users. They draw it in from the Cosmos they walk through, and store them in orbs... but orbs come with honor, and respect. A Jsarin must earn their orbs to contain the magic. Other magic users really aren't true... we have now learned. Jsarin are the bearers of the Cosmos's energy. Magic, as we know it, is a form of energy one can manipulate. Jsarin have mastered this gift and sometimes, gift humans will a small token of this magic.

Jsarin are strong, fast, and unlike anything anyone has ever come by. They're solid feet are very flexible, and can be used as hands, or paws. This helps with holding, running, and most of all, they use this trait to craft. Did you notice they have upper dew claws on each side of their arms? Those are actually thumbs! Yes, thumbs! That is actually a wrist right there. Their skeletal system is truly remarkable. do you see the knee caps on the back legs? yep, they have knees. Their hind legs are strongly defined with muscle, because Jsarin also can walk on their hind legs like a man! they double a regular human's height! Well... that's the minimum of their height. Some of them grow beyond that.... I suggest you don't try to size one up. They are the true warriors of the stars.

Jsarin, as you can tell by now, are mythical creatures of the cosmos. They 'walk' on clouds of matter and energy through solar systems when travelling. They drop form planet to planet, blessing them with their magic, and presence. The Jsarin have finally found earth again, and want to stay.



Wait, you want to own a Jsarin? No, no, no, Jsarin aren't pets, they aren't things to dawdle with! You mustn't talk like that! Jsarin look for companions, not owners. There is a strong disapproval to those who think they 'own' a Jsarin.

You must prove yourself to the Jsarin in anyway it chooses. Jsarin have a two names. one only the companion and the Jsarin will know, and one everyone will address it by. The first name a Jsarin is born with, should never be uttered beyond the Jsarin and it's companion's presence. If the name is known by anyone else, the Jsarin will lose all it's orbs, and be banished to the ground forever. It is that bad..... the Jsarin will be so depressed, most die of the misery and loneliness. Only one or two have survived.... and trust me, it's not one bit pleasant. The Jsarin are alone, and their companions normally are banned from ever having another Jsarin companion.



Colors and Coats

Gingers, browns, goldens, greys,

Black and white are rare...

Light blues and dark dark blues are for very rare Jsarins.
Of course all Jsarins may visit the Tattoo Dragon for that little extra umph!

Coats are thick, smooth overlying hairs. They are long, but never seem to get messy. The hairs are thick and fall back into place easily.

Brindling is most common.... stripes also come, but are long and thick.

Unique and strange markings still flow through the breed.

The rarest of markings is a calico type of marking. Colors can range from creams, to black and white, to the strangest combos you can think of.

Rules:

do note that Jsarin are creatures of mutual affection... They do not 'love' like humans. They will care and die for one another... but do not breed. Jsarins are 'born' being created out of magic. There are no parents, or families.

Jsarin are not to be OWNED. They are companions.
Yes you can ride them, but do not treat them like horses. They are huge.... don't underestimate them.

Do not steal species, or consider it a dragon. It is not a dragon. It is a warm blooded, furred creature. Not a reptile....

Jsarin cannot fly... they do not have wings, and never will.

Jsarin can be used elsewhere... but you must reference back to me, and the artist.... trust me... I have eyes...everywhere


Jsarin events: there are certain holidays that the Jsarin celebrate. They celebrate the stars(sun included, because it is a star) and they celebrate the celestial orbs(planets and moons), and they celebrate a day of peace. It is celebrated with great zest and everyone joins in.

Day of Solace: This day was when the Jsarin, and their enemies fought. The day was locked in time and space, and there was no rest, until half of each side was dead. The Jsarin then locked away their enemies in a different dimension so the two would never meet again. This brings great grief to all of the Jsarin, so they rejoice in the peace they have, dressing up, and selling their treasures, and buying masks and decor.

On this day, they also feast and join each other in joyous celebration of the conflict adverted with the compromised state of their lives.

This day will happen... but the Jsarin don't say....

Customs!


Customs are now open, so you can specifically set out a form to see who out there, in the endless pools of Jsarin, matches what you're looking for!

The rare the colors and more items/mutations, the higher the price. Also... it takes time to match you up with your perfect companion, so please... be patient, but don't let us forget you!
