[Moonskye]

This species was found roaming the African savannah in the early morning. They seemed like herbivores, but we believe they are omnivores after observing one catch a small rodent. As we continued to watch over the course of several weeks, we discovered that they are social animals and group together in what we have deemed as a herd. We aren't sure exactly what they are, but they resemble a mix of an antelope and and a small canine animal. They may also be part anteater, but it's hard to tell.

Facts

- These creatures are one and a half feet tall- quite short compared to other common savannah animals.
-They hunt/graze during the morning and evening, and spend their time relaxing under trees and in dens they dig during the day.
-Lions hunt these creatures, thus they can dig quickly if necessary with their sharp claws.
-Males fight for mates by rutting like goats
-Their diet consists of rodents, savannah grasses, bugs, tree bark, and when they get lucky, berries.
