like many of you,
i was devastated when i heard of the boston marathon bombings.
i walked into the car after swim practice,
and npr was doing a report on what had happened.
an eight-year-old boy and two others are dead.
too many are injured.
as a runner,
i know the triumphant feeling after completing a race.
can you imagine how devastating it would be to have your entire life changed?
destroyed, even?
many people will be unable to run again.
the eight-year-old boy's sister was a dancer,
and she may have to have both of her legs amputated.
i hope that i speak with the voice of chicken smoothie and the nation when i say that our
thoughts,
hearts,
and for those who are religious,
prayers,
go out to everyone who is a victim of the bombings,
as well as their families and friends.
drawing is a work in progress.

I completely second this message; what happened was horrible and was so painful. I only watched a news reporter's video, but it was quite enough.
Thank you for putting this out.
What a view, huh?
