Oh my gosh I nearly lost it today... That girl... I just... URGH
Okay, okay... So our school play is this Friday and so far it doesn't look too good. The director trusted me to help keep everyone under control, so I was backstage helping people and I noticed this girl (who had been getting on my nerves since day one) was being really loud and obnoxious, as always. I went over to her and told her politely, "Hey, you need to be ready for the next scene and quiet down a bit. On opening day, the whole stage will be microphoned, so we can't make any noises or talk, okay?" and smiled very nicely because I'm just nice like that. And then she says to me: "Oh, well you see, I do this thing where I don't take the show 100% seriously until I'm pressured to." Several things wrong with this statement. Let's name them, shall we?
a) The show is in less than TWO DAYS.
b) You shouldn't even be in the play if you're not going to take it seriously.
c) The show is in LESS. THAN. TWO. DAYS.
At this point, I was MAD. Being the sarcastic person I am, I replied with, "Oh, okay. That's TOTALLY fair to the many people who care about the play. It's not like cast members have quit because of people like you. And the show is only in two days, you've got PLENTY of time to slack off. It's not like people have had emotional breakdowns because the play is in TWO DAYS and it looks like a disaster because people like you don't give a crap about it."
Then she acts all defensive like "Hey, don't get all mad, it's not a big deal. It's just the way I work."
Ohohoho, she made the biggest mistake ever by saying that. "Oh, I'm sorry, don't let my passion for acting get in the way of you not caring," I said, and stormed off because I was seriously about to smash her head in. If this play isn't over soon, I'm scared I might explode, and the last thing you wanna do is piss off a redhead. Okay it's late and I really need to go to bed so half of this probably didn't make sense sorry
