Feligallai [Fell-i-gah-lay] are large woodland creatures that like to dwell anywhere warm and dry. They can be found in almost any part of the world that has a forest in it, and even occasionally they might turn up as pets in some people's stables. The celts used to believe that Feligallai brought good luck to those they stayed with and although this is just a myth, many superstitious people do keep them for this reason.

Each female Feligalus [Fell-i-gal-us] is around 90 centimetres at shoulder height, and each male is around 100 centimetres at shoulder height, although the largest on record is 130 centimetres. Feligallai can be any colouring you can possibly think of, although it is more common for them to have natural pelt colours than not. For some unknown reason, Feligallai always have a marking under their eyes that will match their eye and paw pad colouring. These markings can be any shape, and the fancier they are, the more popular the Feligalus tends to be among it's fellows.

Feliallai are very sociable creatures and live in tribes of 12-15 fifteen members in the wild, although they have been known to bond with humans on many occasions as well. The males can be very territorial when protecting their females, and will produce a chittering noise to ward off intruders and to show aggression. The long tails of the Feligallai are exceedingly strong, allowing them to use the tails like a whip when attacked. Social status in the tribe is shown by how much jewelry the Feligalus is wearing. The more beads and feathers the Feligalus is wearing, the more important they are. Only leaders are lucky enough to be in possession of gold/silver or jems.

Feligallai are omnivorous, and will eat anything they can find, although they prefer not to hunt for prey and generally stick to nuts and berries. However, when hungry, there have been accounts of Feligallai hunting packs taking down adult wolves and other such large prey. No human attacks have currently been recorded which shows them to be pretty much harmless to us.

There are hundreds of different tribes living in the world, but all of them originate from Felison, an island hidden off the coast of an unknown country. Nobody knows exactly where it's positioned, but many people have been guided there by their Feligallai on adventures. Various maps have been made of Felison, and study of the place has shown that the island has five districts: South, North, East, West and Guarde. Guarde is the central district of the island, and entrance is never permited there unles you are a member of the Feliguard.

The Feliguard are an order created to safe guard the island from danger. All of the Feliguard are powerful practicers of magic and are widely known for their skill in healing. It's very very rare for a kit to be chosen as a member of the Feliguard and if they are, the kit will never return to their families again as they will be trained in the order. Each eliguard has their own custom made helmet made to fit their heads, and their colour patterns. The eye markings of the Feliguard are imprinted on their helmet as these markings are believed to be what gives them their power.

Once in a while the custom slots will open up. This means you can get a Feligalus design that you choose yourself! The cost for this will be 1 09 rare for the artist that makes yours, as customs take up time and effort. Occasionally, free customs will be offered. This might be for a contest, or maybe a reward for helping out on the thread a lot or something of that nature.

When breeding is open, your Feligalus can breed! One kit is produced in a litter, although rarely two might pop up. Breeding costs a 2010 rare for the artist who does your breeding as it takes up time and energy for us. You need permission from the other owner to breed, but if you own both you don't need to ask yourself XD. Whoever pays gets the kit.
