RAI. Artists: Practise Lines for the Artists

Postby ImmyWimmy1 » Fri Mar 15, 2013 8:08 am

A little gift for my hard-working artists! Here they may practise the colours they struggle with and they can even design their 'Special Event' horses for whichever holiday is coming up.

Holidays we will celebrate:

> Easter: A Christian celebration originally to celebrate the rebirth of Christ. It has now become a general holiday to symbolise the arrival of Spring, with baby animals and chocolate eggs being symbols of that. It happens between March and April.
> Chirstmas:
> Valentine's Day (too late for 2013 unfortunately): A day to celebrate St Valentine. It involves romance and love. It happens on the 14th February each year.
> Thanksgiving: A day to celebrate the first successful harvest for the very first settlers of America. Food is the main symbol of this holiday, with a turkey being the main feature! It normally occurs around November time.
> Chinese New Year: A sym
> Halloween
> Hanukkah
> Kwanzaa
> Summer Holidays: Not a major holiday for adults, but all children appreciate them!

NB- I am an English Christian, so if you celebrate any holidays from other cultures or religions, please post them and link me to them! I'd love to make RAI. even more diverse! ^^
