One day I was at home I saw my rottie, Baron, had a large bump on his leg. I asked my mom about it and my heart sank when she said he had cancer. There is no cure for him, it has already spread to his chest.
Baron is seven years old and he is a good dog. He was a noble, gentle, heart-melting dog that thrust his way into our hearts. He rose in times of need, when we needed someone to understand us, to believe in us, we went to him. He is a dog who even saved my rabbit, Tucker. We were outside, and I saw a hawk coming for Tucker. Fortunetley, Baron saw too, he knew his friend was in danger. He ran to Tucker, barked at the hawk, and the hawk flew away. Baron was the best dog our family could ever have. We hoped the best for him, for all of us..
Baron knew me all too well, at a glance he could tell my mood, what I want to do, and what could make me happier. He was a truly special dog…
But it had to end someday, and that day was Nov. 20th, 2009 at 11:30 am.
