hate him or love him...

my beloved Eli bantering me about how bad my human-drawing-skills are, especially digitally -.-
(but I still love you, Eli <3)

and GASH that failing shading took about all of the time. Though, time is still off. I believe. I never draw 100% xD

In response to your, 'I hate drawing hands' comment:

The best thing I can tell you to do is use your own hands for reference. Using a picture is fine and all, but you don't see the three dimensional effect that comes with a flesh one. Break the hands down into basic forms in shapes, like cones, cylinders, and circles. Use a mirror and make the pose that you're going to draw your character in, and see how the hands move/are connected to your body. Then you won't end up with what my art teacher calls, 'sausage fingers'.

Hope this could help~

Edit: Also, I really like the foreshortening you showed on this. It's a hard affect to achieve!

lol. sausage fingers. hehe. :P
(okay, randum)

but, thanks! I just always have the trouble that I am I draw the hand that I'm drawing with, so I only have the 'wrong hand' to take a pose off. Besides that I need to fix a camera and I have no patience. Heheh. But thanks, I'll re-read this when I work on another human/Eli drawing ^^
