Oribella

Postby owls-in-october » Tue Jan 29, 2013 11:49 am

This is a sketch of Oribella, one of my RP charries. She's a sweet, cream-colored wolf, who despite her kind nature, is a good leader and the head hunter of her pack. Her main weakness is a tendancy to hold too much trust in people, though.

The background I'm particularily proud of in this one, but I used too much shading on the fur, and don't know how to reverse that. I may come back to work on this again.

Reference.

EDIT: I can't believe 10 people like this; is it that good? XD
EDIT EDIT: 17 likes...OMG....if this gets featured I'm going to faint with shock/joy

It's fantastic with a mouse! I can't wait until you get your tablet, it will be epic!

Thanks so much! It is really frustrating and hard to make art with a mouse, I'm much better by hand. XD I stink at fullbody shots with a mouse, but once I have the tablet, I'll be able to make a ref sheet of this particular character in this artwork.

Ah...it's no longer in Intermediate. :( Yeah, I guess it's not quite that good, but still...

I fixed the fur; it was ugly.
