In the early 1800's, during the period of the Restoration, in France. The economy is still recovering from past downfalls. It is like the aftermath of a European Great Depression. There are few wealthy families existing, even the government is struggling with finances. Meanwhile, the commoners are treated like dirt. Chaos continuously rings out in the streets, a revolution is whispered among men. They intend to stand up against this inexcusable age of poverty.
Who are you? A street rat, a soldier, a rebel, or just a victim of this merciless tyranny you were born into?

1. Follow all of Tess's and Nick's rules.
2. Respect and obey me and any mini-mods.
3. Semi-literate. In my book, that means 4+ lines. Although I will accept 3 for writer's block.
4. If you make two characters or more, make sure to have a boy for every girl. I want to keep genders and positions even.
5. You may only join if you've either read the book, seen the play, or watched the movie. But: if you are truly determined to join, just pm me and I will explain the plot more thoroughly. c;
6. PG-13. Keep the romance and gore to a minimum.
7. I will not be providing a form, and I don't care if yours is all that pretty, just make sure you include the basics: Name, Age, Position, History and Personality. I understand if your personality isn't detailed, I too like to develop my character throughout the roleplay.
