Akito is very laid back and calm, and shows little to no respect to others in her family(Due to how theytreated "her" duing Akito's childhood. He is close to almost no one, and doesn't appreciate anyone interfering with his family, or him, really. Although Akito seems tough and heartless on the outside, to tell the truth, he is just insecure, and feels worthless on the inside!
Story:
Akito was born female, but upon learning her child would be female, Akito's mother demanded that he be raised being referred to as "male" out of fear that a female child would steal her place in Akito's father's heart. Sometime in Akito's childhood, his mother's illness took a turn for the worse. On her death-bed, she told the young Akito not to be afraid, adding that he would always be with her, even if she couldn't physically see him. She went onto confess that she had wanted he mate to be the happiest over Akito, because Akito was a "special existence," and therefore both he and his father were special. After he died, when Ren(his father) found out that no one had come to get her when Akira(His mother) had been dying, he yelled at the young Akito that he was an unwanted existence, and that he had only been a little toy to amuse Akira; Ren also added that, because Akira was dead, no one had any more need of poor Akito.

If you couldn't tell, he is quite the flirt. Despite this he try's not to push peoples boundary's and will change tactical approach if you reject him, so you could say he is persistent. Jax is also a free spirit, not staying in one place for long because he gets tired of the same scenery and people.

He is an overall mysterious but adventurous Shionnix. He enjoys exploring unknown skies and maps (and mapping might I add). He studies the stars and names them. He has also made a star map to help others find their way around the islands. He prefers to be alone and explore though he doesn't mind a bit of company.

||Story||
The sun was setting and twilight began to climb the sky until it reached the very top of the floating islands. A young Shionnix was sitting on top of a large sky oak. He smiled and saw the stars come out one by one. The moon began to shed its light over the islands now. Atlas, which was the young one's name, gasped at the beautiful sights of twilight. He had seen the sun set many times before but he always loved the sight of the stars coming out. He breathed in the cool air and the scent of the darkening sky that the breeze carried with it. The trees began to whisper and shake. Atlas saw the last of the sun's good-night glow and glided down from his tree. He was still a bit young so he was just getting used to flying. He stumbled a little on his way but landed safely on the ground. He looked up at the huge oak, his "secret get-away base" as he sometimes liked to call it. He would hop over here for alone time or to study the stars. He knew that some could be used in traveling. He took careful notice of them just in case they were important. He also liked to study maps and other things. "strange" and "mysterious" they called him but he didn't mind. He hopped home in the dark, smiling.
((This is a story of what he did practically every night as a young shionnix. He is older now and has more responsibilities but he still studies maps and stars. He is now an expert of travel, tracking, and map-making. He is usually very busy; mapping, tracking, and helping the chief of the clan with lots of stuff.))
