Hello! This is a species I had made up a while back, but with the much needed assistance of anomaly. on the shading, eyes and smoothing on the lineart, and also the name.

About the Kimera's planet

The kimera is a species that has been recently found on a once unknown planet not far off from Mars. The planet is about fifty degree's warmer than Earths average temperature but it has some small hidden caves that can be very cold and even snow in. As on Earth, the surroundings range, though most of it is like a rainfores. Dangerous and facinating creatures are being found on this planet every day. Most deadly and viscious, but they are almost all naive and with low inteligence so they are easy to capture.

The Kimera body.

Ranging from 5 feet long to 8, the kimera is larger than most of the species on its home planet. Its colors range quite a bit, mostly based on the surrounding enviroment, and in many different types of patterns and styles. The average weight of one of these creatures is about 250, all muscle. If you catch one in a yawn, you will see no teeth, just gums, but when it feels threatened, or is hunting, 2-3 inch jagged teeth will emerge from its gums, two larger poisonous fangs near the front of its mouth. Its body is snakelike but thick, the end of its tail very thin looking, and can be used in a whip like fashion to ward off other competition for prey or mates. If the kimera is a cave or underwater living one it will have glowing marks and eyes for it to see prey.


Personality

The kimera is on the top of the foodchain for a reason, its smart, very smart, and viscious. There has not been a single case of where a kimera has seen a human and not attacked, nor has there been a case where it kill the human either. With the combined swiftness, agility, and brains it is a deadly one to be around, well most of them are...

Rumors?
-Recently there has been talk about some non violent and bloodthirsty kimera's living in a hidden valley

-The leader of this small odd herd is rumored to be a albino, white with red eyes, but this may just be rumors though.

-Hm.. A snowy, friendly kimera with a hat? This must be just rumor..

Special occasions (such as New Years, every 100 pages) will be celebrated. This post will be geared toward those special occasions. Special occasions will be just that- Special. It will only be celebrated every once in a while.
