What are Twinkle Pups?
Twinkle pups are an odd creature. They resemble dogs, but have wings that levitate above their bodies, a long "sparkle tail," and oversized eyes. Their tongues always hang out of their mouths, except at birth.
Face: They have puppy-like faces from birth to adulthood, and they always smile, like the cheshire cat, but less creepy. They always have at least one floppy ear, and the pointed ear only shows up in adult males.
Body: Their body is sturdily built and stocky. They have a mane of especially soft fur on their chest and neck like a mane. Their necks are thick and well-balanced with the rest of the body
Flight: Even though they can fly, they are far from gifted flyers. They fly less than 30 feet above ground level, and don't go very fast. But they can fly for long times at slow paces. They prefer to just hang there being cute rather than amaze crowds with lightning speeds, such as what Ocedrakes do.
Fur: Their fur is downy and soft. Unusually waterproof, it doesn't seem to have a watertight layer but somehow it deflects water, so they enjoy swimming if the water is at a decent temperature
Color: They can be any color under the sun. Their wings are always a pastel version of their main color, with the exception of any markings. If they are a jumble of colors, their wings are white with maybe a few tinges of the dominant color at the feathertips or top of the wing
Personality: The Twinkle Pups' personalities are vastly different, but they share some of the same characteristics such as the way they walk. Since they are always happy, they move with a slight bounce in their step. Some feisty pups will even "pronk" at times. They plant all four feet on the ground, jump up, and land with all fours again, and repeat. They also tend to be happy at heart no matter what. If something is disappointing or sad, they think of something that made them very happy, and then they're ready for anything.
