Welcome to BFE adopts! Here, you can adopt the rare Black Forest Elk. They are a shy, mythical species, so be very careful when approaching one.
A BFE is an endangered species of elk. Like most others of their kind, BFE have cloven hooves, branched antlers, and stunning strength and agility. One unique feature about these are the short, scruffy manes on their neck and throat. Their belly, elbow, and tail fur is long and silky, and is in demand worldwide because of the beautiful garments crafted out of it. BFE are shy and can only be found in certain parts of Europe. They are unpredictable and difficult to capture, but once you earn a BFE's trust, you are an inseparable team.
- BFE bear normally one fawn, but in rare cases, two can be born.
- At birth, a fawn is the size of a large dog and will grow until the age of 2.5 - 3 years.
- In this time span, fawns are very dependent on their mother and should not be weaned early.
- A BFE diet consists of grass, various vegetation, roots, tree bark, and leaves.
- Stags are more aggressive than hinds, especially in certain seasons.
Browse for an elk you're interested in, then click on it. The artist will have the relevant information ready, as well as a form for you to fill out. Read the rules, information, and deadline, then post the form on the elk's page. But WAIT! If you haven't read the rules yet, I highly recommend you do just that!
1. No cheating, whining, bribing, stealing, or any other pathetic attempt to exploit this center. It will not work, trust me.
2. No spamming. One-word posts, off-topic conversations, etc. is considered SPAM.
3. There is a limit of five BFE that you may own.
4. Treat everyone with respect. Mean-hearted words have no place here.
5. Don't beg. It makes you look terribly desperate.
6. I have the right to change these rules at any time.
7. Follow the rules.
8. Obey rule #7.
9. I came up with the ideas and art for this by myself. Black Forest Elk are sadly not real, as far as I know.
10. Have fun!
