Basically the idea I had for them, is that they live in a world like ours. They're slightly smaller than normal canines, and with a lionish tail. Of course, the lightbulb on their forehead is used to attract fireflies and twinkles in either the female/male firefly signal. I guess the lights are used to attract mates for themselves too. The fireflies in the bottle is mainly the Fireflighter's greatest treasure, as they love twinkly little things. And, of course, they're mostly active at night c: That's what I was thinking when I created them, anyways.
