Mods: Please move this to Beginner's Oekaki. Thanks. <3
This is my entry for this Warrior of Isket.
The species is not mine, it belongs to TheWolfsgirl90
The design is by Neara
This is my entry for the September WoI. If I win it, the gender will be male and his name will be Chase.
I used this as a reference.
So... I hope you like it! Please tell me what you think. I'm very proud of this drawing, and I'm thrilled with how the shading turned out. I sort of 'improvised' with the markings on the front of the chest, as they weren't shown in the ref, but I think they work well anyway.
As this was drawn with the new Oekaki program, I might as well give my comments on it. Firstly, the loading page has a nice touch... now we can see how much it has loaded, yay! Also, I like the new palette, as then you don't really go around accidentally adding colours and wasting palette space. I like the whole new set up with some of the other things too, such as the layers, as it saves space.
The ability to rotate drawings is definitely, definitely a bonus. Now there's a whole new level added to it all - we don't have to run around rotating sideways drawings and uploading them again.
And now, if you can save drawings on proxy servers, that would be totally awesome. I would have so much more time to work on my drawings using the Oekaki, and more time to make more adoptables! Yay!
Comments and criticism is welcome!
