lmao I had braces in what....fourth-fifth grade? They're not fun, but after the first few days/weeks/whatever they're really not that bad....except when the wires snap D8

There not bad, I have them now and now I pretty much forget there here! The first few weeks are hard because your mouth is REALLY sore. But don't worry there okay after a couple of weeks XD
