Phoenixes are Immortal fire birds found in many different mythologies. The Phoenix first originated around in ancient Egypt as a stork or Heron-like bird called a Benu, known from the book of the dead.
The Greeks thought the bird as a Peacock or Eagle and the name came from Greece.

MALE PHOENIXES
Males are the brighter colored birds, though quite a bit smaller than the females. They usually live a bit longer and when reborn from ashes look like a featherless baby sparrow.

FEMALE PHOENIXES
Females are darker colored, and are quite a bit larger than the males. They live up to about a 1,000 years before they set themselves on fire and reborn from ashes. When reborn the are the size of a featherless chick.
This is my first adoptable and I want to make it a good one. I will make many more pets for adoptions later on now onto the rules.You can click on the drawings of the phoenixes to read about them and what gender they are.
