- Welcome to Llamalings, the wooliest fluffiest place in town. Now, what is a llamaling, you may ask. Well, since they seem to be a new addition to our bestiary, let me enlighten you on the species:
Information on the species wrote:Llamalings are small creatures, about the size of a golden retriever. Normally shy and secretive, they bond at birth to either another llamaling or a handler/owner. Once this bond has been made it can't be broken easily. After this the llamaling is much more sociable. Hued in both natural and unnatural colours, it is often quite rare to see a llamaling with solid colours. Markings can arrange themselves in any pattern, but stop at the knee or 'hock'. Each llamaling has four antennae; two upon its head and two at the base of the tail. These are sensory organs and used to detect the emotions around them. If a llamaling is born without them it is seen to be deformed. At the back are a set of small wing-like objects which protrude from the shoulder. The flutter as the llamaling walks; though they serve no purpose flying, they can help a falling llamaling by cushioning the blow.
- Species name - Llamalings
Lifespam - 70-80 years
Adult Size - 20-30''
Adult Weight - 60-70 lbs
Coat - Llamalings are covered in a furry type of wool which, depending on the genetics, will be flat or wavy. This wool is very dense and fluffy in most circumstances.
Llamalings can exhibit any colour, though are often broken up with colourful markings. Their legs remain markingless. They have a maximum of four colours, not including eye colour.
Genetics dictates not all llamas share the same traits; some may be very fluffy, and rarely, some not at all.
From the small wing like protrusions, in rare cases different types of appendages can be seen. The extent of this is not covered widely.
Most will happily wear accessories, but some do not wish to at all.
So far there is no evidence dictating that they don't all grow up.
- Breaking the rules could warrant a strike or a ban from the thread. Please follow them, and if you have any questions, ask.
- Adopting your own llamaling can be easy; artists will place a llamaling up for adoption and require you to fill in a form. There is always a contest to get a llamaling, whether it's simply by choosing a great name, or drawing art. These adoptables are geared towards everyone with all different skill levels. Below this, any llamalings up for adoption will be linked for convenience.
To ensure your try-out goes smoothly, please follow all rules the artist has laid out on the adopt in question.
