OK OK I NEED SHADING TIPS.
I have no clue how to shade /:
Anyone have tips?

Edited it, as suggested by :

The furthest hind leg is not as shaped as one nearest, and the thigh area is not rounded the right way.
I read the information on the breed, and I think the neck may still be a bit short, and the chest should be more pronounced since they are strong and it would suit them more.
Other than that, I love them lines so far and cannot wait to see the creatures finally be finished!

The red's and blues are very rough, and Idea's, I'll make them better if everyone's ok with the changes c:

I do, though the stance reminds me of a show horse and I'm not sure if that's what you were going for. oh well, I guess it works well for a ref. Unless you wanted to put a unique marking on that one leg or something. Maybe you could do a sort of pose like thishttp://farm4.staticflickr.com/3190/2616693142_ed39979fdf_z.jpg You know how when horses are relaxed and they rest on the tip of their hoof like that... maybe rather out of character for the Kelpies, I don't know. :3

Hmmm, I do like that they look show horsey, since they're generally proud.
But, I would like that leg to be visible, maybe I'll try that pose, if it doesn't come out right, I'll just leave it as is cx
