Rune Dragons - Sophie LeClaire

Postby maluruloki » Thu Aug 30, 2012 6:59 am

Just a reference sheet for me and the other Runie fans. :) The three Rune Dragons shown are the three most commonly seen with her at various times.

...knapsack = empty space filler. X)

P.S. Any human critique?

Well, you've got the chest anatomy spot on. Well done.
Her eyes and nose are a bit big though. Perhaps narrow them a touch? So they look a bit more relaxed, but happy at the same time? Also, nose's tend to slope downwards somewhat when going from the top of the nose to the tip. Like a mountain, of sorts. They tend to be a bit more pointed as well.
The neck is a little thin, and seems kind of... I don't know... Maybe curve it? Like two sideways U's? Just... a little less defined.

Otherwise, this is pretty good. Nicely done.

You basically pointed out everything that I just sat there and stared at for at least 10 minutes before finally throwing up my hands and posting it. X) I have the worst time balancing faces vertically (as in on each side of the nose). Noses I have never figured out either. I figure all that stuff is practice-makes-perfect.

Thanks for the fair critique! I appreciate another set of eyes. :)

Lol

No problem.
If you want, I can do a quick series of tutorials for the body parts of the head and neck.
After I design my own Rune Bearer of course. ^O^;

If you design a tutorial not just for me, but for other users on here, I'll gladly go check it out. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate checking out a different perspective. :)
