A love of trials
What can compare?
Two hearts bound despite the miles
To separate them none would dare.
For theirs is one of focused strife
Pain and anguish pulling tight
Yet love trumps all and fills their life
Longing for each other with all their might.
And then one day against the odds
Despite the chance of such a thing
Into a meadow Calista plods
And their true joy does surely ring.
For standing there among the oaks
Is Fenlas sweet, her beating heart.
For a moment both just cannot cope
After such a time that they were apart.
But just like that they realize hope,
And meet each other at the stream
Embrace again as lovers dear
And realize all their hopeless dream.
