I'm going to start making Maned Wolf adoptables
I actually made a pup and an adult! So...since people tend to get this confused, I'm going to clear some things up for you guys!
Are they foxes or wolves?
Neither! Maned wolves are under the genus Chrysocyon, and are the only species under said genus. They get there own special group!
But they're called Maned Wolves!
Yeah? And Jackrabbits are called such, despite the fact that they're hares! You see, the common name Maned Wolf is just one of many names given to the animal Chrysocyon brachyurus. I can assure you, though, they are not wolves.
What exactly are they..?
Maned wolves are a very tall species of canine (reaching 42in/107cm tall) that lives in South America. They're long legs and necks enable them to see over the tall grasses that they typically hunt in. They do not form packs of any sort, but every now and then a mated pair will share a large territory, though they don't hunt or live together.
What do they eat?
Maned wolves feed on small prey animals, but mostly on various fruits and shrubs. Prey animals tend to include rodents, hares, small birds, and occasionally fish. Fruits tend to be wolf-apples, sugar cane, and the like.

No. I did not create the species, they are a real, living, wild canine.
The facts were gathered from various book and website sources.
