About Gummy Dragons
Sizes
♠Egg ~ Tea Cup♠
♠Child ~ Guinea Pig♠
♠Teen ~ Pomeranian♠
♠Adult ~ Shiba Inu♠
♠ Gummy's can live in any environment aside from underwater, for now. There are some that are semi-aquatic, though none have developed gills as of yet.
♠ Gummy's can't fly until they reach adulthood.
♠ They're mane was originally developed to trap heat, an undercoat of black fur attracts the sun and a brighter colored mane keeps the heat trapped to keep the dragon warm.
♠ The most common place to find them is an arctic forest or perhaps a jungle, as these were the first places the species was spread to.
♠ They have somewhat echo-location as they CAN hear sounds from very far away and sometimes use echolocation to move about in dark areas, though if you yell near them it gives them a bad headache.
♠ A Gummy's tail never gets longer, it's born with it's tail in full bloom to be a long tail, though it develops as the Gummy ages.
♠ Gummy's tend to be loners, but if they mate they stay by each other and travel together.
♠ They tend to roam their determined tundra, though some like to wander.
♠ Gummy's mate for LIFE.
♠ They can't breathe fire, or rather, not all of them can. Depending upon their environment their breath effect varies. A GDA who lived in the cold would breathe frost, a GDA who lives in the heat could breath fire. ETC.
♠ Due to their ultrasensitive hearing their eyesight doesn't develop as quickly as humans, so babies can't open their eyes until they reach teenager-hood.
♠ Gummy's ALWAYS have an orb with them, it contains a melody that is the sign of their power. It's essentially their life force and it enables them to have their magical powers and sustain their long lifespans. They MUST have it somewhere on their body AT ALL TIMES.
