[The Lost Gremlin]

When you were younger, you remember hearing stories about an old haunted horse stable just on the outskirts of town. Stories about how during the hours of dusk and twilight, one might hear the whinnying of a horse or the hoofbeats on soil, yet nobody was there. People merely brushed it off, sayng it might just be the doings of some prankster kids or a feral pony wandering the area.
You would pass the stables occasionally and strain your ears with hopes of hearing those ghostly calls, to no avail. It's been a long time since anyone's seen anything and now, people are simply forgetting the existence of the old farm.

It's been several months since you've last seen the decrepit stables. You think nothing of it when you pass by the property in your car, until your parents turn into the road that leads there. How strange. Both of you parents are grinning, holding back small giggles as you approach the farm. A small sign hangs overhead, bearing a wooden board. On it, something is etched in drippy black letters:

Rules of Roleplay
- All of Tess' rules apply.

- No god-modding or powerplaying

- No Gary/Mary Sues. In other words, no perfect characters whatsoever.

- No forced breedings between horses.

- Please try to keep the language clean. If you must, please * out the letters.

- You can make as many characters as you can handle and keep active.

- This is a realistic horse riding rp. That means this stable specialises in only a few similar disciplines (Show Jumping, Cross Country, Working Hunter). It is not an active breeding stables, so the number of stallions/intact colts will be very minimal.

- Please try to let me know if you're not going to be on for a brief amount of time. Leaving without notice will lead to your characters being removed after one week of inactivity.

- Genders do not have tTry to use a real picture.o be even. Because this is a realistic riding stables rp, there will be a set limit to how many stallions/intact colts. All other males must be geldings.

- You can use your own forms if you like, but make sure they still contain the same sort of information.

- I like pretty posts and forms. Try and make them pretty but readable. Writing in greys/whites is not practical and makes everything difficult to see.

- If you've read this far, please put "Smokey Horseshoes" somewhere in your form.

- Please do not have younger horses that are absolutely perfect. You can't just jump on the back of a four year old and expect it to do everything as perfecty as an experienced twelve year old.

- Drama is encouraged, but don't go overboard or pinpoint on one particular character everytime. Nobody wants an attention hog.

- Take all fights in OOC to PMs. Don't spam up the roleplay if you're bickering with someone.

- I will not assign a minimum amount to write, but single sentence replies will not be accepted. If you're stuck, try to describe what the character is feeling, what they can smell, hear, see, etc

- Listen to me and the Mini-mods (once and if any are assigned). Please do not ask to be one; I will choose them myself.

- I will probably add more eventually. I have the right to ban you if necassary.


Stable Rules (Can be broken for drama)
- Stallions may not graze with any other horses. Each stallion has his own paddock that's about half an acre in size and a stable in the stallion barn.
- Geldings, mares, fillies and yearling colts may be kept in the main barn. Uncut colts musn't be pastured with mares and fillies once they become yearlings.
- Do not leave tack and equipment lying around.
- Keep all gates and stable doors shut when not in use.

Black Magic - Around the Stables

The Main Barn
Where the mares, geldings and foals are housed. The tackroom and feedroom is also located here, as well as the hay and straw loft.

The Stallion Block
Where all the stallions are kept. In total there are only four stalls, meaning only four stallions for the time being.

The Paddocks
There are several large paddocks, ranging between five and eight acres in size. There are also a few small half-acre paddocks where the stallions are kept. Each stallion has his own paddock.

Training Arenas/Areas of Leisure
In total there is one large outdoor sandschool to practice Show Jumping and to school in, and there is a set-aside meadow where Cross-country can be rehearsed. There are also many private hacking trails, such as the Forest Trail, the Lakeside Trail and the Field Trail.

The House
A simple farmhouse with several guestrooms for those who choose to board here. The kitchen is open, meaning anyone can help themselves to snacks and refreshments.
