Backstory of the monster-
(Story by Henry H. Neff, summary by me) This poor monster was once a smart young man. He was an architect in London. One day, after work, the man went to a bar. He met a stranger there with whom he occupied a strange conversation. The stranger wore many rings on his hand, and carried a cane. The stranger asked the hesitant man what his favorite structures were. He replied that he liked the Colosseum, the pyramids, and another old building. The stranger then asked the man if he thought he could combine all three buildings. of course he could, but he had work and was very busy. He had concluded the stranger to be crazy. The stranger however, was no lunatic. He had also informed the man that his colleague was competing against him to design the best building. The man eventually accepted the task. He worked without rest on the project, hoping to win the challenge. The winner would have their masterpiece built. Demons and monsters were afoot and on the verge of taking over the world. Once the man's colleague was finished, he came to show the man. The colleague, which he trained, had done a much better job than he had. The man went home angry that night, to find his wife in hysterics. An announcement had been issued that every household must have a seal of the most powerful demon painted on their house. Those who chose not to, were killed. The man painted the strange symbol, then went to his colleague's house. Now that demons were taking over, winning this project could mean life or death for his family. Not wanting to lose, then man scratched the symbol of the demon off of his colleague's house. Later, he saw his colleague murdered. The stranger, agreed to do the man's design. The stranger turned out to be a very powerful demon. The man grew weaker as the months passed, and his masterpiece was built. He was becoming a monster. It must have been the demon's fault. Tentacles had sprouted instead of his legs, and he even ate half of a 7 foot creature, without even meaning to. One day, the man, now monster, was taken to a well. Each full moon, an orphanage type place, would place a child in the sheep's pen, and the man would go and eat his small prey.
