oh no! I am so sorry... :'( you know what? your not alone. I had the cutest little baby great blue heron. I found him in the lake (I live really close to a lake) and we brought him to a wildlife protection center (I think that was it was...) and they called us 2 days later, and told us our little bird had passed away. and you know what else? I can't draw birds ether. (yours are much better than mine though)

how did he get out of his cage? if you don't mind me asking of course! Since last time I heard from you, you were getting a birdcage and to think that would have been difficult to escape from right? (ours cant get out of his cage...)

Thank you, we did love having him while he was alive. And we had found a large wire dog cage on sale, but its bars were far enough apart that while he was still growing he could get out if he really tried.
