I don't think there is much of a lesson, really. I mean, if I'm a goldfish, then I can't move my bowl to a safer position. Some idiot human placed me there, therefore endangering me. And quite frankly, what kind of person puts a large stick or bare tree in their house and then continues to place their goldfish on it? I mean, WTH? If there WAS a lesson, however, I'd say it would be to be extremely careful in precarious situations, social or otherwise, or you might fall.
