I've been trying to draw lightsaber blades and get the glow to look right, so here's my test sheet. The blue one was using a tutorial LOCW_Bluestarwarrior made for me. I think it turned out really good but the glow wasn't quite as bright as I wouldn't liked it so I started experimenting. I think the green one turned out the best with less work involved. 12 pt white pencil, then 50 pt 100 opacity airbrush, then I think it was 10 pt white pencil over that. :3

If you guys could tell me which one you think looks better that would be very helpful. Thanks.

Yes, the blue one is the only one with a hilt. I was feel lazy. =P And speaking of hilts I think I finally figured out how to do them right. XD
