It happened one foggy morning,while I was using some cat genes to mix with dog genes.My mission was to create a dog/cat creature so that we would have an animal that was smart and strong.I can't be sure how,but one way or another I grabbed the wrong capsule.After mixing the two genes,I sent the mixture off to Lauren,who knew how to create creatures out of genes.No one knows how she does it...but that doesn't matter.She came out wih a fish bowl full with water."Hey,Sarah!What'd you do to those genes?Look at this odd thing!"I squwatted down and looked into the fish bowl.Inside was what looked like a small cat,about the size of my palm,probably smaller.It was oddly colored,a sickly green.Then I saw it's tail.I gasped at it's beauty.It was a reddish orange mixed with bright yellow.It was spotted delicately with small black freckles."It's gorgeous!"I murmered,standing back up."It's useless,too.Just a big fish.Guess I'll have to dump-""Wait!"I gaped."How could you possibly dump it!?I'll keep it!"
"Whatever you want,Sarah.Afterall,you made it somehow.Here."Lauren handed me the fish bowl."You'll have to get a bigger tank.Aaannndd..knowing you,you'll want to breed them.So I made two.Don't know the genders or anything,but..."Lauren went back into her room and returned with another bowl."Here,I'll dump them in the same bowl."Lauren said,pouring the other creature into my fish bowl."Better go home fast 'fore Jerry sees you.I'll make the gene mixture while your gone.I'll tell 'm you went home sick."
"Thanks,Lauren!"I said cheerfully and drove home as quickly as I could.
When I arrived,I readied my old fish tank,wich was pretty big,and put my crabs in my other aquarium.Then I poured the creatures in the tank."I never did get a good look at you."I cooed the the one Lauren had given me second.I examined it throughly.It was light grey with two yellow stripes under each eye,and yellow ear tips.It had dark blue 'stockings' and a light blue flank.It's tail was a light orange that got darker as it went down,with white dots covering the edges.It's tail also appeared to have three cotton plants on it."Your both remarkable!"I cooed."Perhaps I should start a club or something to ensure your species doesn't die out?"
That idea sounded great!So I began experimenting and writing down many notes.
After awhile,I named the species Guppics.And I named the male(grey one) Chimera.I named the female Lapras.
I began gathering more people who wanted to help.
And now the Guppics
are in
terrible
danger.
Some
newsmen
found
out
and
they
want
to
take
them.
I
need
help.
