A Dox Dragon is a dragonlike species of creature found all over the world, equal in intelligence to humans. They originated in the Himalayas, and the largest known colony in existence of them still lives there. They generally prefer to live in colder and higher areas, but sometimes they can even be found in places like the desert- it's all personal preference.

All Dox Dragons have wings (except for in rare exceptions), feathered tails, and some kind of markings or patterns on them (that way, I can keep mine unique). Their markings, colors and what they look like in general always will reflect their personality. You will never find a dark-colored Dox with a happy personality, and vice versa. The feathers on the end of their tail can be of any shape and size, as long as they're there. Without the feathers, a Dox Dragon can't fly.

Meaning of name:
Fiery, Fun loving, daring and adventurous.

Personality (based on his color):
Inigo is a fiery young guy, he loves to get in trouble and have fun-
hes very flirty and can get a bit high headed some times, but in his mind its all in good fun.

He can often come off as obnoxious, but still can be sweet and funny, he has a good sense of humor and can really be a goood friend to be around-
he is more of a dare devil, and doesn't particularely like reserved people, and loves to be around the more lively kind of personality that he can go out and make trouble with.

As he gets older he begins to want to travel more and wants to get out of the Himilayas, as much as he loves his home and family, he believes that the whole point of livinng life is realizing that every day you live, you become 24 hours closer to death.

So, even though it scares him to leave his family, he wants to see the world, and he wants to know desperately what lays beyond those mountains..

Inigo is also very good at flying, although he isn't like the experts with the three sets of ears, he can definately hold his place in speed and agility in the air amognst others--
He loves to practice his flying, Cliff jumping is one of his main activities, that he has now perfected for himself.

Inigo is just an over all happy guy and only wants to have fun, although he knows how to defend himself, and knows how to fight.
History:

Inigo was born to a nice family, and was raised by an smart, caring, and fun loving mother. She would often take her pups out of the cave to watch the Bonded Dox's and their riders fly. Inigo always wanted to do this, and often looked at these dragons with a special admiration, and even a tad bit of Envy.

Inigo would watch them carefully- how their riders signalled and comunicated with their winged companion,
How the Dragons would elegantly sped along side a target as their tribal rider hit it smack in the middle of a bullseye with a arrow shot by a steady bow.

As he grew up, he began to grow into a hansome, playful, and adventurous trouble maker of a dragon. Many of the other dragons looked down on him at this point, but because of his happy and determined attitude, he didn't let their thoughts of him get to him.

Inigo loved to flirt too, and still does, really. When he was a teenager, he would flirt with every female that passed him, not making him the favorite of any fathers in the colony of course, but as always, only meant good.

The only thing that wasn't very good was that he would of course flirt and court any female that cared to reply, but then lost intrest and moved onto the next, not making that popular with the girls later either.

And many thought that he was just an another annoying teenager, and as usual, Nigo couldn't care less.

As Nigo Reaches adulthood, he becomes a bit more curious, and wonders what is to behold above the mountains, he has lived here his whole life, yet now, he is conflicted to leave it, his desperate wanting to leave the mountains eats at him.

But his dreading of leaving his friends, family, and his crush, kills him.
~*Story!*~
~*Childhood*~
Inigo squirmed as his mother got up and stretched. "Kia, would you watch the kids for a while? i need soome fresh air." He stood up and walked to the mouth of the burrow. "Of course,love. Take a walk, you have been laying with them all day." Senna smiled an nuzzled a pup that gnawed on her tail. "Thank you dear, i shall bring back dinner." She said, gently nuzzling her mate before trotting to the outside of the burrow. Nigo watched as his mother left, Disappearing into the blizzard that raged on outside. This was the usual weather of the Himilayas. Cold, Snowing, and cold again. It made Nigo and the other pups happy they could stay in the warmth of the burrow. Their father sat in the mouth of the burrow, letting the pups sleep in the warmer depth of the cave and keeping the majority of the cold outside. The pups had just been able to eat solids, but not much food was available for any of the doxs in the colony at the moment. A blizzard had had run through the mountains at that time and had left 4 feet of snow on the ground. It had been snowing for three days straight and almost all the doxs had to dig through 3 feet of ice to get even the smallest amount of dead grass for their families. Nigo curled up between his father's paws, his father tightened his paws around him and laid his head gently on his pup, looking at the outside blizzard with worry.
~*TEENAGER*~
( From His friend's Perspective :3)
"Dude, are you sure we should be doing this?" He asked, looking at him with a worried look. "What do you mean? i did this yestarday, Its totally fine!" Taron rolled his eyes, this was crazy. "Okay, Look at it like this," He began, trying to reason with his friend. "We have walked... FIVE MILES, to a cliff. That we now plan to jump off into a trench.. Does that sound logical to you?" He looked at Inigo again hoping that his message had sunk in a little, though he knew it hadn't. Nigo ruffled his wings and looked uup at Taron again. "Yes, very actually. Now stop being so wimpy and take a chance, where is the devilish ghoul that i know you as? Has he gone for a trip to him Mum's house?" Taron glared at him, this was the stupidest thing that Inigo had decided to do his whole life, when did he go from stealing food from the older dragons to jumping off some cliff over a trench. If they fell in even the loudest of disstress calls wouldn't be heard. "Oh Shut up," he said with a bit of a snarl, Nigo only giggled childishly. "Okay, so this is what is going to happen-" he began, before Taron interupted, "We're going home? how nice, I'll race you there. You get a head start." Nigo rolled his eyes and ruffled his feathers. "Are you seriously doing this right now? After we walked AND flew this far? Just to chicken out when we finally got here?" Taron looked down. In his mind, he knew that his friend was partly right. They had gone such a long way to get here. It would be unfair if he made them both go back all the way home. Besides, He had said he had done this yestarday. It must be safe. "Okay...Lets get this over with then." Nigo laughed and smiled "Theres my Taron!" Taron gulped and stepped to the edge of the cliff. "Okay now jump!" Taron closed his eyes and breathed, what he was about to do was crazy. He took one final breath, but before he could even get through it, a slam from behind him sent him flying off the cliff. His eyes shot open and hhe yellled, only looking up to see Nigo with a braud smile on his face. He howled in laughter as Taron Screamed in horror, they were approaching the bottom of Trench. Nigo folded his wings and flipped his friend right side up. "FLY!!" He yelled at him. Taron flapped his wings furiously, only throwing him off balance. Nigo rolld his eyes and agaiin looked at Taron. "Follow me!!" Inigo zoomed past him and easily glided off. It finally struck Taron, Not to fly, but Soar. He mimicked his friend and caught up with him, zooming along side him. Taron looked down, They extremely close to the ground, but were going insanely fast. "Don't try to land until you can control yourself!" Nigo yelled, Taron nodded nervously. Nigo then started to swoop his wings forward as he landed softly on the ground, Taron sped past him. He looked back in horror, he did'n know how to stop, and the bank of a rivier was coming up. He tryed to swoop his wings forward as Nigo had, but there was no saving him, He face planted right into the icey water. He poked his head back out, only to see his friend on the shore, Laughing his butt off.

~*ADULT*~
"Taron, do you ever think we will get out of the mountains?" He said while flying, his friend glided along side him, a bit taken aback by the question. "What do you mean? Leaving the Himilayas?" Nigo looked back at him, nodding, and then returning his gaze to the horizon. "Of course, just imagine what could be out there. Think of all the food." Nigo was tired of eating the frozen shrubs that inhabitted their side of the mountains. Even though in the valley below, lay a thick feild of grass and wildflowers. This was usually where the elk and deer grazed, and the wolves and leopards hunted. This was where they were headed. Nigo had as usual talked Taron into coming with. For breakfast this morning, they had has bark off the scarce tree that grew around the peaks, the few leaves from that tree, and some twigs of a stripped shrub. Both Inigo and Taron were tired of this, and were finally able to sneak out at their first attempt to eat in the valley. The two were not afraid of being attacked by the wolves or leopard, but of being caught by the elders. The elders were the only ones that could boss the adults of the colony around, and could easily bust the young adults. "Is the only thing we are going to the valley for food?" Taron asked, he wasn't about to risk his place in the colony for this. "No," He said, looking at his friend with a smirk. "We're going for the sake of freedom, well..AND food...But most importantly that freedom part." Taron rolled his eyes with a smile. He knew that they were going to get caught. "DON'T WORRY! We'll be fine as long as we keep watch for the patrol, they'll take us down for sure." Taron's eyes got a bit wider. "Nigo, are you sure you want to do this just for some food?" Nigo interupted immediately, "And freedom!! Don't forget the freedom!!" Taron looked at him with a ridiculous look. "Okay, and freedom, but anything REALLY worth it?" he asked, his friend was being incredibly risky, and he wasn't sure if he should be part of this. "Yes, we can bring back food for others too. Does that make you feel better wussy pants?" Nigo recieved a well deserved glare. "No, not at all really, at least now you can fullfill your dream of leaving the mountains when we are kicked out of the colony!" Nigo laughed, he found it actually a bit funny when his friend got all worried. "Listen pouty pants, we are right above the valley, lets land" Taron gave a final glare before decending, this wasn't at all how he had planned to spend his day. When they landed, Taron's unhappy glare turned into a delighted smile as the soft grass cushioned his paws. Inigo watched as his friend's scowl turned iinto grin. "See arn't you happy we came now?" he said, rolling in the lush green grass. Taron bent over and took a bite of the grass and smiled. "Okay, i take everything that i saidf about coming here back, this is awsome!" "Mmhmm. You just have to relax when i take you places, it almost always turns out fine, huh?" Nigo said while he laid in the grass, eyes closed, and with a big smile.

cliff diving--

Nigo loves doing this, it includes finding a high cliff (which i must say is not very hard on the himilayas xD) taking a deep breath, and jumping.

But before you hit the ground below, you open your wings and glide away from any danger.

Nigolikes to do this because it has to do with a lot of speed and adrenaline, He is really the only one that likes to do this,
Because the other dragons have a sense of maturity, and know better than to run and jump of a cliff for the fun of it.

OpalMutt, I suggest changing the tragic part in the history because he would have to be inverted for that part to be possible. It's a part of the species. Very nice form, Please edit out or alter that one part of the history.
