I made some lines for Flurry's species, because I'm opening them up to people besides just me. 8) For now, they'll be a relatively close-ish friends thing. 'Cuz Flurry's so sentimental to me, I'm making her a little different than the rest. Well. Here's all the information I have on them.

-In the past, I've thought about calling the species Dox or Dox dragons, so that's what they'll be called for now, although that'll probably change in the future.
-Naturally, they don't actually have three sets of ears- they have two. However, when people discovered them, the head researcher genetically changed a few of them to the three sets of ears, as it makes them more agile and balanced in flight. Please ask permission to make a three-eared one, although I'll probably say yes.
-The feathery tips of their tails are unique to each one of the species. I added a few, but feel free to draw your own feather patterns. Just please don't steal Flurry's V-shaped one.
-Naturally, ALL of these guys have patterns. Plain or very, very simple designs won't be allowed, probably ever. Flurry (and Apocalypse, I guess) are exceptions (once I have the time, I'll post why).
-Wild Doxes without human companions are very small- about the size of a cat or a dog. Once they find a human and 'bond' with them, they'll grow to about the height of the human, or just big enough for the person to easily ride them.
-Their personalities always match their markings and colors.
-If something really traumatic happens to them, or their human bond is killed, their colors will invert, and so will their personalities. Usually when this happens they'll take on a new name, as well.
-In the wild, they live in small colonies in isolated areas. Most wild ones live in snowy mountainous areas. The biggest known colony is located in the Himalayas. Bonded Dox, however, will live wherever their human bond is.
-They are equal in intelligence to people.
-Their colors can be bright or natural- it doesn't matter, as long as they have markings.
-One-eared (well, one pair of ears) Doxes are not quite as rare as the 3-eared ones, but are still pretty uncommon. They're a natural genetic mutation, and are often not as smart and are sillier than the other doxes. They aren't the best at flying, and have trouble surviving in the wild. Almost all one-eared Doxes are either domestic pets or bonded.
-They are herbivores, although they have sharp 'canine' teeth for defense.
-Their tongues are the same color as their eyes. :B

Yup. If you're a friend and you wanna make one, you can use the lines I've made or make your own. If you make your own, just start like you're gonna color this in, then draw from there (that way, I can keep track of any existing from this page).

I think that's it. Post if you wanna make one. Also, PM me before any major deviations from the standard (unique ears or wings, wingless, etc.) so I can clear it. In fact, I'd prefer it if you PM'd me before making anything other than a standard 2-eared Dox. Thanks! ouo

Thanks for the awesome comments and stuff. I might put some two-eared ones in Adoptable Oekaki, but I'm not completely sure if they'd catch on. 8)

I saw in a different post that a dox can have one set of ears. Is that true? I would defiantly le to know more about the species!
