A tablet won't make much improvement in your art, it just makes digital art a little easier and maybe faster. You should be proud though, horse anatomy kills me. .3. And di you use the smoothing tool? If you are using a mouse or touchpad, it's awesomely helpful.

Ohhh but it would probably help me because it has a pen to it and no i didn't, I'll go back and use that in a bit, thanks :3
