Step 1: make a dot the sise you want the screw to be using the pencil
Step 2: choose two darker tints or shades and place two smaller dots inside your orrigional
Step 3: using smudge tool with it's sise slightly larger than your screw, blend together the dots
Step 4: using pen at a sise of about 2-4, draw an X across your dot
Step 5: Blend the dot even more using smudge, then if you chose alter the X using smudge on a smaller sise
Step 6: use Dodge to make the screw look shiny, if the X looks to small, use Burn to make it darker
Step 7: make a new layar behind the one you've been working on, use pencil to make a shadow the same sise or larger than your screw

MAKE SURE TO USE ALPHA LOCK

play arround with different colors, redish hints make the metal look slightly rusted, orange looks like copper, yellow turns into gold, and if your up for a challenge, grey turns into a lovely silver
