[The Last Raven]

Four words: I. Hate. Drawing. People! Ugh. Seriously. I hate drawing them! (Yes, I know she's not really a human, but what difference does that make??) Anyway, it's rather ironic I finished it today: National Depression Day (or as so many call it: Valentine's Day or Love's Day). Sorry for this ugly, grossly sad piece of art to those who celebrate this day with such happiness and splendor. Sorry, but Valentine's Day has never been good to me. Ok, now about this horrid piece of trash that I would dare to love. This elven character is Caladwen, Princess of the Night. Now, originally I designed her as a lioness (click to view lioness character and the story behind it all), who you can see faded in the background. But I decided to also draw her as an Elf. Now the reason for Caladwen's sadness is...well, you can read about that in the link to the lion character. Anyway, originally the piece was supposed to have Caladwen (both elf and lioness) gazing ahead at a mountain range...and then it turned into this gawdy piece with random rainbows in outterspace. Ugh, sorry about that. Still not sure I like the rainbow...doesn't seem depresssing or sad enough with it there. Anyway, I decided to finally stop editing and redoing things. I think I've worked on this long enough. The timer isn't quite correct. It only took me about half that time.
So, now that I've completely bored you (and your probably wondering why you chose to waste your time reading this horrible description) I will stop and just let you judge the picture for yourself.

i am actually a talented artist in disguise (AKA: person who has no idea how to use this program) how do you draw lines on this??? whenever i draw it freehand it always looks all blurry and squiggly and i have no clue how to use the other ones... so when i saw your stuff i was like woah... how do you do this???

To get smoother lines, but the smoothing tool up to 86%. It helps a lot. If you ever have any other questions, about how to use the Oekaki try the guide. It should be able to answer some of your questions. Just keep practicing and you'll do fine.
