[The Great ME!]

Behold! My TakeKitsune, at long last I've made an adoptable lineart for them! XD
Takekitsune translates into "Bamboo Fox"(think of them kind of like the Pipe Fox from xxxHolic or Tube Foxes from Ookami). They are a very small breed of fox that live inside bamboo stalks and are often seen to be more 'snake-like' or 'weasel-like'. Over the span of 100 years they eventually grow into the size of a normal fox but can switch between both forms/sizes and can start to take on a partially human form(think Shippo from Inuyasha). Once they reach 200 years they can bond with someone and choose to 'devour' them. The devoured person's soul continues to live on as a second tail and the fox gains their wisdom, skills, and life experience as well as grows more powerful. This can continue into a 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. tails every hundred years. Rarest of all are 10 tailed Takekitsune, Foxes who have lived 1000 years and bonded with and devoured nine people. Once they reach 10 tails, they have the power to become a Kami("Deity") and create their own star/world, however, most don't live that long. Only five have ever been known to live that long(the five in the picture about).
The third to reach that age and ten tails(keep in mind, they can live to be a thousand but never get that many tails) was tainted by darkness and war and so became a powerful demon instead of a God, and ravaged the lands. The fourth, that was not much younger, fought the fox demon along with the help of many humans which cost the fox God and many people their lives, and only managed to seal the demon fox away, not kill it. Afterwards, people feared that it would happen again, and Takekitsune were hunted to near extinction. The fifth fox, Chikazetakeko, was discovered by a priest many hundreds of years after and raised at the shrine for the first two hundred years. Chi became the fifth fox ever known to reach 10 tails and become a god, and unlike the other two still alive of it's kind, it has not yet created it's own star and resides at the shrine it was raised at, which has remained as a sanctuary to Bamboofoxes for the last thousand years. Currently there are six other foxes at the shrine besides Chi, Yukiobake, Utsukushiharu, Bunbu, Ginshippo, and Hinote.

I have two methods for you getting an adoptable of one of these guys =3 So please keep reading if you're interested!

• You can pay me to color, or for one of my volunteer artists, to color it for you(all pets go to me, that's why they're volunteer artists, not HIRED artists)! Please bare in mind, I've been payed as many as 2 '09 Rares for my adoptables, so don't expect to pay me some single common or uncommon for this! These adoptables take time to color and do a quality job =3(Wishlist and Hoard pets only please!)
• You can pay a cheaper fee for me to add your name to the list of people allowed to color them! Any Uncommon hoard pets would be fine, let's say, 2 hoard pets? Bare in mind, you will only be allowed to make ONE colored adoptable for each payment of 2 hoard pets, after you make one I'll remove your name from the list, unless you pay like 6 hoard pets or something, then obviously you can make three =3 If you don't follow this and only pay for one adoptable but make a bunch more than one, then it's considered art theft which is reportable.

Want to be a volunteer artist?
I've had this requested by two other people so far so I'm adding this one. If you want to be an artist for these little guys for me you can be! Here's how this will work out. Commissioner's send the pets to me as the original artist. Sorry, but the agreement is that you don't get the pets. HOWEVER, for every three sales you make(either commissions or pre-colored adoptables, so long as pets have already been PAID) you get a free adoptable of your own without having to pay me pets.
