Shark Practice

Postby RemixPhoenix » Fri Jan 27, 2012 1:09 pm

I wanted to practice drawing sharks. (Thus it's here and not beginners x3)
I ended up drawing three characters from a story I want to write but don't know enough about the species of shark to write it.
:33

Comments would be appreciated :33
Also, please know that this is my first time drawing sharks on the computer x3

-steps in- awesome, a new shark artist :D. That's not too bad for your first time doing them on the computer :). I like the style you gave them, very cute. Shark eyes are circular (not ovals :3), and consist mainly of the pupil. (except when taking a bite of something, then they are usually white). The base of the tail gets pretty thin, and (when I draw) the back fin, I draw it as two seperate fins, somewhat thin, coming from the tip of the tail. The nose tends to be more rounded as well :). Good luck, this isn't bad for a first try... when I started drawing sharks they looked something like a long triangle with eyes XS.
***So, we've got a sun jewel, toxics, balloon dogs, you name it and 15 different characters. If you enter our contest. You've got a good chance of winning something. ***

Thanks :3
I just realized I forgot to draw the gill slits... Meh, I'll fix that later.
My tablet doesn't work on this laptop.
