Depending on where you value the Elf peices and the Rose a 2010 Rare could cover them.
But the Malk Fairy is not covered by the Mid 2009 Rare.

Malk Fairy = Early 2009 Rare
Elf Cloak & Tail Lace = FULL Elf Set is valued around 1 2010 Rare - but with demand can fetch more than that - as this contains only 2 pieces rarity wise together the Cloak & Lace would be roughly worth 1 2010 Uncomon
Rose = 1-2 2011 Uncommons

Early 2009 Rare = January - April 2009
Mid 2009 Rare = May - August 2009

Trade 02

Unfair to the top side.

Elf Cloak & Tail Lace = FULL Elf Set is valued around 1 2010 Rare - but with demand can fetch more than that - as this contains only 2 pieces rarity wise together the Cloak & Lace would be roughly worth 1 2010 Uncomon
Scardy & Ember Cat = 1 2013 Common/Uncommon each
Spirit to King of Saxony Bird-of-Paradise = 1 2018 Common/Uncommon each

Even with the demand of the Elf items, I do not believe the bottom side adds up to 1 2009 Rare.

With the store list like the basilisks, they might be getting moved up the list, but as of now, that trade was unfair them, yes.

The grinner is a September list. The store pets likely won’t be moved off of the advent list if they even get moved, so yes this was unfair to them, and demand is up to you and your trading partner. They may have been desperate to try to obtain the pet. ^^
