" Not about the artifact!" Lara finished her sentence," But about something else.I was thinking about it the other day,... maybe we could retrieve artifacts faster, together..." Lara paused waiting for Mackenzie to inturrupt, but she looked a little interested.

Mackenzie glared accusingly at her, not very mad, but accusingly, "Im listening." She continued to point the gun at her.

" I mean, like, working together... side- by-side searching for artifacts and lost tombs," Lara felt a little more encouraged despite the desert eagle pointing at her head," You could keep the artifacts you find all to yourself and know one will slow you down. You get payed whenever you find the things we had to find, it'll be fun," Lara suprisingly found herself pleading.

Mackenzie lowered the desert eagle a little," Why should I trust you?"

Lara said solemnly and sincerely, actually wanting to work with this girl,"Would you rather trust me than someone you love who will eventually let you down?"

Mackenzie's heart thumped in her chest when Lara said that,Is that someone I love she's talking about Tony? she thought to herself, feeling her emotions of ambition started to mingle over love, and love started to break into parts.

Lara noticed her hesitation," If you want to work with me... meet me in the clearing near your tent tomarrow, and we'll both leave. Remember tomarrow." She turned and went back to finding a way in.

Mackenzie watched her go, and turned and walked in a different direction to find a way in. She thought a little about Lara's offer,What would happen if I went with her? She wondered solemnly, then thought,And what would happen if I didnt? She leaned on the stone wall of the temple. Suddenly she remembered where she had to go,a huge river in the amazon! She felt dumb being here and stood up to her full height and ran through the jungle undergrowth.

Mason continued riding through the jungle, unaware at first that there was a huge river ahead. When he noticed it and he was riding at a deadly speed towards it's fast moving currents, he held his brakes and began skidding to a stop. When he finally stopped was when he was within an inch from plunging into the river.

Tony just sat there, feeling the cool breeze through his hair. A small feeling sturred inside that something was wrong, but he paid no mind. Unbuttoning his shirt so that he could cool off a little bit more, Tony sighed and closed his eyes.
