Myth: Darius is a Selkie - a being who was born by the sea. Selkies have a "skin" of sorts, and when worn they are a sea creature, something like a seal or a dolphin. When the skin is taken off, Selkies appear to be humans. If a Selkie's skin is stolen, the Selkie is forever enslaved to the being who took their skin, until the Selkie can steal it back or the other being relinquishes it - for this reason, a Selkie's skin is usually kept very close and well-hidden. History: Born from the sea, for the first few years of his life Darius traveled the oceans as his true form. Only when the sea urged him onto shore did he truly discover what else he could become - a human being. Though it took him awhile to grow accustomed to human ways (In other words, he would catch oysters, open them with rocks, and eat them raw until he learned better), he soon blended well into society. As the years progressed and society advanced, it became harder and harder for Darius to return to the sea, so he chose to stay on land for most of the time. Only occasionally was he able to go out and answer the call of the waves. One day, though, an inexplicable force sucked him away from every he knew, and he was deposited into a land unfamiliar to him...
Personality: Darius is a very easygoing boy - he loves to laugh and make others laugh as well. Occasionally, he will become absent-minded, drifting into thought, though he will snap out of it soon enough and skip right back into step. Sometimes, he acts a bit... odd, but it is surely just his instincts as an animal kicking in. All in all, he ia a very friendly, devoted, and passionate person, if not a bit protective.
What you look like: Darius has an odd look about him, that of confidence, arrogance, and cockiness, though he doesn't act it. His eyes are an golden-hazel color, ensnaring many a gaze. His hair is a bit odd, as well - it is combed forward as if there is a constant wind behind him.
