Seth finally found a hiding place and climbed up a tree as high as he could. He spread his black sleeping bag over the branches and lay on top of it.

Mipetra tucked in Anmet and Ivy. He gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Goodnight, my sweet." he said softly. He was next to Ivy.

Anmet yawned and went to sleep.

Ivy still couldn't get used to being treated like this, so her only response was a nod, then she quickly tucked her head beneath the sleeping bag she was curled in. She closed her eyes, but her ears were straining to listen for any abnormal sounds coming from outside the tent. She didn't feel right, not knowing her surroundings.

Mipetra went outside to study the battle plan for tomorrow. He heard a noise. "Ivy, come quick!" he says loudly.

Ivy was instantly out of the tent and into the dimming forest, looking around with a knife in hand. "What?"

"Listen. It's... HELP!" he said as something grabbed his leg, pulling him to the ground, being dragged. "Help!" he screams.

Anmet is a heavy sleeper, and doesn't hear a thing.

Ivy's eyes widened in alarm, and she quickly grabbed Mipetra's arm, digging her feet into the ground so she isn't just dragged along with him.

Seth heard screams coming from somewhere off in the distance, and couldn't help wondering how many died on the first day. He had filled a cask of water earlier, after drinking as much as he could. He didn't know when he would find water next, and didn't trust the Capitol not to poison it overnight.
