Katelyn wasn't surprised when she saw a look of fear on Lucy's face for a brief moment. The massive tiger towered over the small cat, so to have a large figure approach them all alone, it'd surely be scary for a moment. She shrugged at her roommate's question, "Work wanted me to bring everyone breakfast." She casually said, "And since they wanted me to carry all this stuff, I decided I'd take the bus." She hoped she wouldn't know she's lying, they were a cop, after all.

The bus eventually went on, and Katelyn motioned to allow Lucy to get on first. She still had to get change out to pay for the bus. Luckily, she had two ones available, and only hoped the machine would read them. Luckily, the machine read the two dollar bills, and she took a seat near the front of the bus. She hoped it'd be a quick ride, although there was no telling for a trip that was over three miles. She just leaned back in the chair and sighed, checking her phone just in case there were any new messages. Luckily, there weren't, so she was able to play phone games to pass the time, looking out the window every so often to make sure she didn't pass where she had to go.

Lucy Labelle ✪ Bus ✪ Officer

When the bus arrived, Katelyn gestured to step inside first. Lucy nodded and headed into the bus, paying her fare and taking a seat in the chairs across from Katelyn. Since the chairs were conjoined and no one was sitting there, she got some extra leg room. She pulled out her phone as well, checking to see if there were any new messages. There was a couple, so she replied to them.

Get here ASAP, I don't care what you take. We'll fix your ride problem soon. ~Lt.

Oh, thank the lords. I thought that I'd need to go buy a car at this rate. ~Officer Bell

I did not say we were going to replace your ride. We are thinking about it, but for now, use public transit. ~Lt.

Fine. What's the case? Tell me, I'm not getting there any time soon at this rate. ~Officer Bell

Citizens are around. This case is classified. Get over to HQ and we'll explain. ~Lt.

Lucy grinned. So the case was important. All important cases were classified, so it only made sense that this one was truly important. She tucked her phone away, and got comfortable until they arrived.

As the bus came to a stop at the police station and the doors slid open, Lucy stood and gathered her belongings. She waved to Katelyn, and hopped out of the bus. She breathed a sigh of relief and started to walk into the building. As she walked, she realized that even though there hadn't been anyone on the bus, Katelyn would have still probably seen her phone if the lieutenant had sent her details. Lucy shrugged it off. Her friend wouldn't do anything bad, even if she knew some details of the case. Maybe she'd tell her about it later tonight, if she didn't get back from work late again.

As Lucy pulled out her own phone, Katelyn couldn't help but glance over. At her angle, she wasn't able to see much, but did see that apparently she was dealing with something confidential. Quickly, she turned back to her own phone, although she couldn't help but wonder if a mole being found and this confidential mission being connected. But then she shook her head, if there was someone who decieved them, they'd go to a rival gang, not the police. It was probably something else, there was plenty of crime in Zootopia.

Katelyn waved back as Lucy left the bus, and she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. Grabbing the Herbalist back out of the fast food bag, she carefully inspected the roots, making sure they didnt touch her hands. However, one did fall into the bag with the threat of the food, and she quickly took it out. Although it was the flower, not the bulb that caused animals to go wild, she knew ingesting the bulb wouldn't give anyone a fun time either. She smirked, though, knowing g it'd be a nice joke if they did get just a but on their system. It's not like she'd get in trouble if they didn't know.

Finally arriving to her stop, Katelyn stepped off the bus. She checked the location, and saw it was only a couple blocks away at this point. Grabbing out her phone, she sent a message, I'll be there in a bit. and was on her way.

Lucy Labelle ✪ Zootopia Police Department ✪ Officer

"About time. Follow me, Officer Bell." Was the first thing that greeted her as she entered the building. The lieutenant turned around, hands behind his back, and headed towards his office. Inside his office was a large, round desk with a neatly placed coffee mug on it. There was a poster hanging on his wall about something, but most importantly, a map. On the map were a few places marked with purple pins.

"What's this? Are these related to the new case?" Lucy asked, intrigued.

"Yes. These are three areas marked as suspects for a particular plant you might know. It's rather common as a money-making toxic drug." The lieutenant paused, pushing his glasses up his long wolf snout, and turned to look at Lucy.

"Night Howlers? But those who grew and manufactured the poison are all in prison. Where'd the dealers get their hands on them, and what are they using them for?" Lucy asked worriedly, her tail swishing nervously. Night Howlers were a big deal here in the city. If the wrong people got their hands on them, who knew what could happen.

"We do not know where the dealers got the plants, nor what they are using them for. All we found was traces of the plants in old warehouses east of here. I'd like you to inspect the warehouses to find clues on where the dealers went, as they had moved their stock just a few minutes before your arrival. Our team came back pretty beat up and empty-handed, so you're on your own." The lieutenant replied, taking a seat in his chair. He folded his hands patiently, and looked up at Lucy expectantly.

"I'll take the case, lieutenant. Those pins mark the warehouses, yes? They're rather far for public transit..." Lucy said slowly, knowing there was no way she'd be able to complete the assignment without a ride.

"You will take Officer Cameron's motorcycle. It's much newer and quieter than your old one, which will be fixed in a few days. Cameron will take a week to fully recover from his injuries, so he's off duty for the time being." The lieutenant said, throwing her the keys and waving his hand to signal that she was dismissed.

"Yes sir. I'll get going now and report soon." Lucy replied, stepping outside of the office and heading to the parking lot. Once out of earshot of the lieutenant's office, she groaned angrily. "Seriously? They give the newest officers the fancy new bikes, but mine? No, that one will never be replaced. Here Lucy, have this junk while the newbie gets the fancy one you can borrow for a few days." She hissed under her breath, and fired up the motorcycle. It drove smoothly out of the lot, and soon she was on the road, heading towards the first warehouse.

Katelyn arrived at the warehouse. Immediately, she noticed that a few people were missing, "So? Who was the mole? Was it Johnny? I never really trusted him, no one should wear that much cloth at one time." She noticed they weren't here, along with a few other animals. Handing the food to Charles as he approached, she walked over to the table in the center of the warehouse that had a map. She put the bulbs on the map.

"Nah, it was Connor." the weasel took a sandwich from the bag, and scurried after her, "Was crying like a kitten when he was found. And wanna know how he was found?" Katelyn sighed, and Charles finished, "He turned himself in?" He laughed, and she shook her head.
"Such a child. I always wondered how he got in this mess." She grabbed some gloves, and took out the bulbs, "Where is everyone then? And why did we need more bulbs? Unless you want to give people a rise, these are useless, and it'll be weeks before these guys sprout flowers."

"We've split to a bunch of different places. Plus group C is gonna start in town later today. Although we're thinking of slipping them in some food stands first. That way suspicion won't arise if we miss. As for the bulbs, yeah. I know." Charles sighed, "I told them Bill shouldn't handle the plants! He just removed the entire thing, destroying it while getting petals."

"Gosh." Katelyn shook her head. She starting grabbing some pots to plant the bulbs, "At least the distance between attacks will leave it less suspicious. Although it's a shame Connor's put. He was great with the plants." She began to wonder if that actually had much to do with him quitting. These plants wouldn't exactly make him the most mentally stable.

She began to water the plants, "Hopefully, they'll grow soon. Although, I think I might take a plant or two home. Just in case someone accidentally destroys these guys, or something. Plus, they look pretty, and it'll add a nice atmosphere when it blossoms." And if Lucy sees it, I could just play dumb.

"You sure? Don't you have a cop roommate or something?" Charles asked her, "Yeah, it'd help, but is it safe?"

"I'll be fine." Katelyn promised. She continued caring for the plants, glancing at the map. It had markings of different places they'd be hitting, "I just can't wait to see how the news explodes about this! I can see it now, 'A second rise of night howlers attacks creates worry.' It'll be amazing. Although, do we have some here, Judy in case our new location is found?" He nodded, and grabbed out a small gum, and a clear container full of small blue balls. Katelyn picked up the gun, inspecting it, "This'll do just fine if anyone comes in." She pointed it at the front entrance to get a handle on the aim.

Lucy Labelle ✪ Warehouses ✪ Officer

As Lucy drove up quietly to the warehouse and stashed the bike nearby, she could already tell that there was no one inside. She walked quietly, her paw on her gun holster as she walked inside. On the floor there were a few telltale purple petals, which she quickly scooped up into a plastic bag for evidence. Scouting around, she couldn't find anything else except a few dusty spare lightbulbs and a tattered jacket. She put the jacket in a larger bag for evidence as well, and left the warehouse to store the bags in her bike before driving over to the second location.

The second warehouse was empty as well. Inside were a few crushed up petals, but since they were crushed it wouldn't be wise to touch them, gloves or no gloves. She sighed. This task wasn't as exciting as she thought it would be, no matter how important it was. She checked the third warehouse as well, but that one didn't have any evidence left behind. However, there was another warehouse marked on her map that wasn't a suspicious point. "I guess I have a little more time to check around the area. Maybe this was one they missed?" Lucy murmured, and hopped onto the motorcycle to get close to the warehouse. She stashed the bike half a mile away, and walked the rest of the way. This time, there were others. She could feel that there were animals inside, but she knew it would be dangerous to go in. She couldn't see anyone on the outside since she had approached from the back of the warehouse. Lucy turned, and typed a message to the lieutenant saying that there was an suspicious unmarked warehouse here, and started to quietly walk back to her bike.

Is this next one the one that Katelyn's in, or some random other group? And if so, do you want to not have them find each other out just yet/would it be okay or not if Lucy got hit? ))

"Any unsuspecting cop who tries to come in here would definitely get a nasty surprise!" Katelyn laughed, "The best part is, well only need to use one or two, and would be able to escape while they're fighting!" She turned back around and looked at the map. It had pretty much all their information, where they would be attacking, where they were keeping their supplies, everything. She looked to Charles, "You know, we really shouldn't have made a single map with everything on it. What if someone gets their hands on this?"

When he just shrugged, Katelyn sighed. "C'mon, we need to get the plucked petals crushed to make more darts. You have the masks?"

" I thought you brought the masks?" Charles said. Katelyn growled, and the smaller Weasel cowered back. "You've got to be kidding me!" Katelyn roared, "There is no way I'm handling this stuff without the proper supplies!" Her fur prickled in annoyance. Turning back to the table, she grabbed two of the pots, sticking them on the Herbalist bag and sighed, "I'm going to take a break. You go get the masks, and we'll meet back here in an hour." She began to head for the front door, but paused, grabbing the gun, "I'm taking this too." she growled, put it in the bag.

Katelyn paused at the front door, though. Something didn't seem quite right... She put her ear against the front door. There were voices outside, "We've got company." she whispered to Charles, and took the gun back out. She peered through the crack in the door to see who was outside...

Lucy Labelle ✪ Warehouse ✪ Officer

Unfortunately, since the department was short on officers after the previous team came back half dead, the lieutenant was only able to sent one officer and one newbie as backup. Lucy came saw them standing hidden, but too close to the warehouse, talking quietly. When she approached, they took one look at her and stopped talking. She glared at them.

"What the hell are you two thinking? We're literally right next to the warehouse, and you sit here chattering like songbirds. You could have, and probably already have, given away our position!" Lucy hissed, outraged that the department sent two of the most incompetent officers for the job.

"Our apologies, Officer-" The two began to speak in unison, when a few shots rang out, whizzing over head as Lucy shoved both officers down to the ground. None of them were hit, thankfully.

"Apologies later. We need to get out of here quietly and alive." Lucy growled, and stood slowly, backing farther into the bushes, hoping that whoever was in the warehouse wouldn't shoot anymore. Standing in the line of fire was rather dangerous, but it was the only way to move quietly through the trees nearby. All three officers drew their guns as well, just in case.

Katelyn peered through the bottom of the door, and saw a pair of feet, but she wasn't sure whose feet they were. Slowly, she stood back up, "We've got company." She whispered to Charles. She had no idea who was out there, or how armed they were. Their best bet was to make a run for it, but they had too many valuable supplies to gather in such a short time.

An idea popped into her head, and she turned to the small weasel, "You start packing everything up." She said quietly, "In about a minute, I'm gonna glance back out, and see if there's a figure in my range, and then we both run like they're chasing us out the back. Got it?" He nodded, and began packing up her supplies.

Katelyn soon heard more voices outside, and held her breath. Now had to be her chance. She looked outside, and saw a figure in her range. She didn't take much time to aim, and instead just shot, and bolted in the opposite direction. She had no idea if the night howler even hit her target or not, or even who the cat-like figure she saw was. All she knew was they need to get out of here now, or they'd be in even bigger trouble than before. Charles was already out the door, and she followed close behind, looking back in real quick just to make sure he didn't leave anything. She saw a small pot left on the table, and just shut the door behind her. She wouldn't risk jail time for a plant.
