Abilities: Monster, being part of the Drake bloodline, has the typical ability to use shadows in any way imaginable—he can become one and slink across the ground at unbelievable speeds, or simply hide as if he was stealthed, and be untouchable. He can solidify shadows and give them shape and life, turning them into weapons, shields, and even small, temporarily living beings. He has completely mastered this ability, therefore granting him the gift of the army of shadows. He can bring every shadow around him up and give it life, a voice, a purpose, even if only temporary, giving him an army of shadowed beings to fight for him.
He has another ability, though a rare one, one that seemed to skip a generation; Vladek did not have this ability… He can create small, mini dimensions of his own, customize them, and create portals to them at will. He mainly uses them as storage for his weapons and important belongings while traveling. He is known to pull a massive, eight foot long, foot wide great sword from a portal the size of a pinhead, the sword being his weapon of choice.
Illusions seem to be his most favorite avenue of torture, instead of fighting. He can force his opponent into a forced daydream of sorts where their consciousness lives out their worst nightmares and fears, and relives the traumas they have experienced. Through this process he may scar or drive the individual completely insane. This sometimes even results in the death of his victim.
Fire is his chosen element. He can withstand extreme heat, such as used during the process of cremation, so fire is an avenue that you don’t want to go down if fighting him. He can control flames as well, which is a given considering his high tolerance of them. If angered, his footsteps will leave scorch marks wherever he walks, and his touch will melt most metals, as well as flesh.
He uses mimicry, an ability similar to shape shifting, except he can mask himself as another person entirely, voice, appearance, and all. This is a nasty trick he uses to close in on or get inside an opponents head.
Last but not least, unlike his family and due to his age and amount of energy he uses, he does not feed on human blood or flesh. He consumes souls, making his hunger far more dangerous and horrifying than any of his siblings.
Personality: Monster is an overall quiet and seemingly brooding individual, his pale but dark appearance aiding in that effect. Aside from what most people assume him to be, he is rather sweet towards those he cares for, and is open minded even if he may appear to be unapproachable. He is unbelievably smart, and it wouldn’t be wrong to dub him a master tactician and expert strategist. He loves games involving strategy such as chess or checkers, and is very, very competitive. He isn’t easy to anger, but when his temper is sparked, it is toxic and will tear apart the entirety of who or whatever provoked him.
Hobbies: As stated before, Monster enjoys strategic games (Chess, checkers, etc) and is known to be caught spending time alone with the wildlife. He frequently spars with siblings Keiran and Lilith, both out of boredom and to kill time, as well as to keep all of them on par with one another.
History: Monster is far older than any of his siblings, at over a century of age. That being said, he left home shortly after his eighteenth year, abandoning his place as the firstborn and heir to Mortia manor to travel and whatnot. Upon his first return he came to find that his mother, Dutchess Avon Redrum had passed, and his father to be on the verge of insanity. After trying and failing to draw his father out of his depression, he left again, only to return twice more to check up on his growing siblings. His return is now final, making him a new, full fledged member of the family, and resident at the manor.
