Alexia....?" the lady behind the counter calls, you walk up to the desk and she directs you to a room in a corridor..."She's quite shy..." she warns you. As you walk down the corridor you hear a little girl laughing and you push open the door. She's in a pink ballerina outfit.

"Hello, i'm Mia..."

Alexia saw Mia. Mia... How cute! "That's just the baby I imagined!" Alex exclaimed to the lady, "How old are you, Mia?" Alex asks Mia.

"I'm 1 and a half," she holds her head up high, and smiles at you...

"Ok," I said to Mia, "You look very cute in that ballerina suit! Do you have any other clothes? If you want, we can go shopping together when you come home with me!"

"Yes thanks that would be amazing!"

Great! I said to Mia, "Do you want to go home now?"

"Yes please...Alexia...urm...What does your house look like?"

"Well," I said, thinking," I guess you'll have to see if you like it!" But of course, I really did hope she was going to like it. "You can call me Alex, or mom," I said. "Shall we go?"

"Yes please! And okay!"

At home:
Mia: "Wow! I love my new home!"
Alexia: "Glad you like it!"

Alexia pulled up next to Walmart.
"Do you want to go shopping here or somewhere else, Mia?"
"No, no," Said Mia, quickly, "It's okay."

After getting out, Alex quickly carried Mia to the 1-2 year old section.
{2 hours later, at home}
"Well," Alex exclaimed at Mia, "What do you think of your new clothes?"
"I love them, mommy!" Mia said, hugging Alex, "I also love all those decorations we bought!"
"I'm really glad you do!" Alex said back, "But, remember, next week you're going to go to the nursery. I do have to work, right? But if you don't like it, you can always come to work with me!"
"No,no,no, I'm sure I'll make friends!"
"Wait," Said Alex, "I just remembered. You didn't see the stable did you?"
"What's a stabble, mommy?"
"That's where horses live."
"We have horses?" Mia said, suprised
"Yeah, horses are my favorite animals. I'll teach you how to ride some time later. But it's getting late, it's already 6:00 PM. You should go to bed. It's been a big day."
Alex tucked Mia in bed and watched the fast-asleep Mia. "Ahhhh," she sighed, "Good night Mia."

The next morning:
Mia got out of bed, wondering where she was. Then, she remembered.
"Oh," she thought, "I have a very nice new mommy!"
Quickly, Mia ran downstairs to the kitchen, for her new bedroom was on the 3 out of 4 floors. The basement, the 1st floor, the 2nd floor, and the attic. Mia hadn't seen it all but, she had a lifetime to do so. Oh, she forgot to say, the new home also has a stable for horses!
"Good morning, Mia." Alexia said, "How did you sleep, honey?"
"Good morning, mama," Mia answered, "I think I had a good night..."
Alex chuckled, "Come down and eat your breakfast. What do you want to eat?"
"Ummmmm," Mia said thinking, "My favorite breakfast food is bread and butter with some milk."
"Okay," Alex said, "Here you go, honey. What's your favorite color?"
"I.... like... pink.... and.... purple..." Mia said between chews and swallows.
"Okay, okay," Alex said, chuckling. "why don't you finish your breakfast before talking and get dressed. Do you want me to choose your clothes or are you okay by yourself?"
"No.... no.... I'm.... ok..."
"I'll meet you in the backyard, you know how to get there right?"
"Yes....... mama........"

Mia:
I decided to wear jeans with Converse shoes and a pink tank-top.
After I was ready, I quickly ran outside to the back yard and was AMAZED!
"Wow," I said, "Nice horses!"
"I know," Alex said, "Do you know why they have furry feet? They're Gypsy Vanners."
"Ummmm," I said, "Okay..... Do you get to ride them?"
"Yes! This one, with cow spots, her name is Dalma. She's going to have a baby soon! The daddy of the baby is this other horse. I only 2 horses, so far. The daddy's name is Rigel (Pronounce: Ry-goll) he's Dalma's opposite! He's black with white spots."
"Amazing," I exlaimed, "Can I ride Dalma?"
"No, honey, Dalma is going to have a baby right? If you ride her, she'll get too tired and maybe loose the baby horse. We have to ride Rigel."
"Oh ok. Can you teach me?"
"Yes yes. This saddle is for Classical Riding. That means that you can jump with Rigel and Dalma. Western Riding is when you enter races. Classical is for show-jumping."
"Oh, now I remember, you pull the reins to stop and to turn right and left."

Alexia:
Mia learned suprisingly fast. By the end of the week, she knew how to control the horses, saddle and bridle them, gallop them, and more! She even started to try jumping them. Plus, Dalma's due-date is getting closer and closer. The doctor said Dalma's baby is a girl! And she'll be coming sometime next week. Mia and I decided to name the filly Taffy.
Alex:
"Oh," I said, thoughtfully, "Your birthday will be next week then, 23rd of December. And that'll also be the same week that Taffy will be born, right? What do you want for birthday presents? And what about Christmas?"
"Ooooooh," Mia exclaimed, "gifts! I want gifts! For my birthday present I want to see Taffy being born!"
"We can't be sure about that, honey." I said, "You can't really know when Taffy'll be born!"
"I don't care," Mia said, "I don't want Christmas gift, I only want Taffy born."

The next week, on Mia's birthday:
"Wake up!" Mama said, shaking me. "wake up! Taffy's being born! And it's your birthday!"
At that, I quickly jumped up and got dressed.

Looking at Taffy being born was just SUPER amazing. I even got to hug little Taffy!

Mia:
"MIA!" Mommy called.
"What? I'm getting dressed mama!"
"Hurry, otherwise you're going to miss the school bus!"
"If I do, can I ride Rigel to school?"
"No, honey," moma called back, "your school doesn't have a stable. But if you want, I can come pick you up with Rigel, Dalma and Taffy. That way if you have a new friend, your friend can have a snack here and she or he can ride Dalma."
"Yay!" I said, "I'm going to look super hard for new friends!"
Alexia:
*sigh*
I really hope Mia gets a new friend. I just hope that I'm not being to harsh on her.
"MIA!"
"WHAT?"
"Aren't you done getting dressed yet? You need to eat breakfast, brush your teeth, and get your new backpack!"
"Ok, ok," Mia said, running down the stairs. She started stuffing the food in her mouth.
"No no no," I said, "eat properly, I"ll get your coat and backpack ready. You eat and brush your teeth."
After sending her to the bus stop, I took care of the horses and went to work with my car, not Dalma or Rigel.

Sophie walked into the adoption centre. She was so excited. Finally she would be able to look after someone! She was ready to take responsibility.

"Miss Sophie?" The woman behind the counter calls, "We have a little girl here for you!"

"Her name is Laia, she's 7 and very smart but shy."

"Hello Laia," Sophie crouched down to Laia's level.

Acacia excitedly walked into the Adoption Center For Children, hoping she'd get twin or triplet girls. She walked in and waited for the woman at the desk to call her over.

"Acacia?" A woman called, "Mrs. Acacia? We have the children that you asked for. Yes, I said children."

"Their names are Nancy and Lucy. But they're very shy..."

"Oh they are so cute! Thank you so much!" Acacia said grinning.
"Nancy and Lucy, would you like to go get some more clothes and big girl beds?" Acacia said sweetly.
"Yes please." they said in unison, they shyly looked down.

*Change of setting*

"Do you like your new Bedroom?"Acacia said smiling.
"I love it."Nancy said.
"Me too."Lucy said. They ran up to their new bedroom.
The two played for an hour and then fell asleep, these two made Acacia want to adopt a baby brother or sister for them. If they really want another sibling, Acacia wouldn't mind having another child in the house, it was too big for three and it needed one or two more children added in.
"Do you two like horses? I have some ponies and horses."Acacia asked the two,
"Yes we love them." They said together giggly.
It was almost 7:15, the two should be getting to bed, they are only 4. She carried them up into their bedroom, one pillow had "Nancy" on it and the other had "Lucy" on it.

"Hello Laia," Sophie crouched down to Laia's level.

Laia looked up at Sophie, eyes wide.
"Is something the matter?" Sophie asked, her voice sweet like honey.
Laia shook her head slowly, her gaze directed at Sophie meaningfully.
"Come on then, let's go," Sophie took Laia's hand and led her to the car.

The next morning Acacia woke up. The two girls were watching Mickey Mouse on their TV.
"Good morning." Acacia said smiling.
The two waved and smiled wearing their pony pajamas. Nancy had purple ones and Lucy had pink.
"Do you guys want a pet?" Acacia asked them smiling.
"Yes! I want a puppy!" Lucy said.
"Me too!" Nancy said in a small voice.
"Okay we can go to the pound today, and I am sure you two want a small dog." Acacia said expecting for them to say yes.
"No a big puppy! Really big." They said.
"Maybe." Acacia said.

"How about this little guy?" Acacia said pointing to a cute little husky.
"No no no, this one." Lucy said pointing at a Dalmatian.
"Or this one!" Nancy said pointing at a Great Dane.
"How about we ask to see them? We can see the Great Dane first and the Dalmatian second!" Acacia suggested, the twins nodded.
Acacia had someone take out the big great dane puppy. It was a boy the pound volunteer said.
They all sat in a play pen and played with him, he was really gentle with the twins and they cuddle him.
"We want him! Pleeaasee?" The two begged. Acacia couldn't refuse. They brought home an adorable puppy. The two named him Amigo. He slept in-between them. They had to go to the pet store, they bought a big bed, bowls, leashes, a harness and collar and food. When they got home, the two puppies Violet and Roman were there. Emma, Acacia's friend had dropped them off, they were at the stables for three days. Amigo played with them and Lucy and Nancy threw a ball over a fence and Violet jumped over it. They laughed and laughed. For dinner, Acacia made peas,rice,chopped up roasted chicken, and some apple slices and milk. Acacia ate some peas,rice, and chicken with them.

"I don't want peas!" Nancy complained.
"At least have a few bites, you will get big and strong." Acacia said trying to talk her into it.
"Fine." Nancy sobbed.
