So, good news - I got a laptop for Christmas, meaning I'll be on more than at random times on mobile!))

Brightstar shuddered. Even his thick coat was pitiful protection against the cold. He glanced around the cave, looking for his senior warriors. No way would any prey be found in weather like this. The only option would be to send some experienced cats deeper into the cave system in hopes of finding something, anything.

Anyone want Brightstar to talk to one of their cats? C:)

She nodded glumly, not happy with their situation. She hated storms; had since she was a little kit. To end the silence between them, she said, "So how's it been for you?"

The young tom yawned, already growing bored of that. He searched for someone fun to pick on, maybe that'd take his mind off things. Frostkit would be an excellent candidate... But where is she? he asked himself, searching the entire place with his eyes. It's her loss... Oh, but I'd never be able to live with myself... Come on, warrior up! "Hey, Nightwing, have you seen Frostkit?" he asked with what sounded like a genuine hint of worry in his voice. He silently cursed himself for that.

He chuckled at her comment, and said, "Annoying? Nosy? You're more... Funny."

Silversky nodded. She could barely see anything but the snow in front of her face. She glanced around, spotting a den. "L-let's go in there for shelter," She stuttered, her teeth chattering from the cold.

"Okay!" She shouted over the roaring of the wind and started heading towards it, slowed down by the ferocious wind.

"Sandclaw." Brightstar approached the warrior. "Are you busy? I'm looking for a cat to accompany me and perhaps another on a patrol deeper in the caves."

Silversky lead the way to the small den and eventually made her way toward it. She stepped inside, sihing in relief. The den was much more warmer than outside and she closed her eyes, feeling relaxed for the first time in moons.

Nightstare finally reached the ded, heartbeats after Silversky. She crawled inside and was greeted by the most unpleasant, sour scent ever.

Sandclaw nodded. He looked around the camp clearing and called out, "Anyone open for a cave patrol?" he could barely see anything because of the snow.

Silversky sniffed the air with a curious look on her face. "What is that sour smell? Smells like.." she gasped as a badger stepped out rrom the shadows, followed by another. "Badger!!" she shouted.
