Glad you're all on board! You know I love how chill you guys are. I like settling things.

Also, I mean, the thing that brings you down is not gonna be your exact word count. Just be reasonable with your length. If you get 4,100 words with a 4k max and you want every single one? Fine! There's room. I don't expect anybody to be policing the word counts.
Just be reasonable. The point of oneshots is to tell a gokd, quick story. Think of a 15 minute episode of a cartoon rather than a movie or even a 45 minute episode of CSI or Walking Dead if you're writing drama/horror instead of comedy.
I'm not gonna flip if you go over the word limit by a little bit. Just don't waste time.

And I suppose that kind of limit isn't terrible.
Although, most of my oneshots are 2-3 pages long, just because of my writing style.
I did just check something, though.

Remember my Small fic about Sasuke being terminally ill?
I just had Open Office do it's count, and it says it's only 1597 words. And it's three pages.

Maybe I've just been getting my estimations wrong this whole time. XD

I have one explanation for you Noni: FONT SIZE!!!
You can technically write a 5 page essay with 5 words. One word on each page!
That's why we measure in words, not pages.

Jeez louise I think I might want to enter! I definitely can't judge. I'm not as interested in Naruto as I once was (obsessed). If we can get at least 2 solid judges than I'll enter. And judges, don't be biased because I'm Daddy Kibachu (or Dad Rabbit?)

So did you guys decide on prizes? Or should this be announced after we get at least 3 entries. We can do 1st, 2nd and 3rd if we get more than 5 entries. And if we get only 3 entries, we'll have only a 1st place.
And just to put this out; I don't really wanna see any C$ prizes or anything involving real money because that can go bad really fast. And no sending postal packages to people for obvious reasons.
