"Hey!" she laughed and plopped some snow on top of his head. He just sat there looming annoyed for a second, then broke out laughing.

The young tom finished up his squirrel and took a look around. It was so noisy and he wanted to leave camp again, but he knew he'd get in trouble if he tried. He settled for disposing of his squirrel and padding over and into a little hidey-hole he had found a couple moons back near the nursery.

{Russetfang isn't talking to anyone currently so Whiteleaf could take to him,
but a few minutes earlier Russetfang chased after Rowanpaw and left the patrol behind,
They got in a fight and Russetfang came back to the patrol alone just now}

Rowanpaw padded into camp tiredly, watching as a few warriors turned their heads to look at her confused.

Rockyfall sulked at the corner of camp, he soon turned to leave the camp, sad about the recent discovery of his forbidden mate's dead body. Before going he looked at his son, Fishpaw, who didn't know he was his father, grieving for the loss of his mentor, Russetwing. Two high ranked cats were no longer with them that day.

Rowanpaw kept her face down as she sulked back into the medicine cat's den, breathing in the scent of herbs.

Fishpaw padded over to Rowanpaw, seeing that she was back, "Hey, Rowanpaw, welcome back from wherever you were. Not sure if you heard, but," He looked up at the older she-cat, eyes watering, "Owlwing died and Russetwing hasn't been back in moons. Russetwing was replaced by Russetfang, and I think you'll replace Owlwing."

Honeybee watched her brother leave the camp, he was surely depressed at the death of Owlwing, his forbidden mate. She watched Fishpaw, her adoptive son was grieving over Russetwing, not his mother.

Rowanpaw's eyes widened. "Owlwing is-" She cut herself off, sucking in a sharp breath, turning to Fishpaw. "T-thank you for telling me..." She said softly, trying to ignore the sting of tears flooding into her eyes.
