Russetfang's heart skipped a beat, Rowanpaw. "Um, Whitepaw, Whiteleaf, stay here for a moment, please." The new deputy began to chase rapidly after Rowanpaw, trying to catch up to her. Once the rest of the patrol couldn't hear him, he yowled, "Rowanpaw! Stop! Please!"

Breezekit looked at her and cocked her head to one side, "Why?"

Tears streamed down Rowanpaw's cheeks, racing through the forest, ignoring his words and bold ing forwards.

Russetfang took off through the heavy layer of snow, "Rowanpawww!! Stop! Please! We need to talk!"

Rowanpaw stopped suddenly, eyes going wide. "We need to talk?" She asked, comming to a stop. "There is nothing. To talk about." She spat, disgusted, tears and snow blinding her eyes.

Russetfang flicked his tail, "I at least have the right to know where you went. You have no idea how worried I was about you! And so much happened at camp, Rowanpaw, you're going to be the medicine cat, I'm the new deputy."

"For starclan's sake! You are having an afair with your mate with some measly shecat because she left for a moon! What did she do for you? As soon as I left did she just crawl in and steal your heart suddenly? You don't know what I went through, Russetfang! You killed my best friend out of spite, killed members of our own clan, and then returned to me suddenly! Not this time, Russet." She said, stairing forward at the cherry trees in the distance. "Not this time."

Russetfang's nostrils flared, "I was jealous then, and I still get jealous now. Obviously, we both do. But I'm more mature now, my thoughts were... corrupted." He admitted, "But that doesn't mean that I'm like that now! You know that, Rowanpaw."
