Flamepaw shrugged. "I guess he's an okay mentor. I don't think he has much experience, though. After all, he is only thirteen moons." she pointed out. "Yeah, I don't know if Brightstar will ever have another apprentice. Wouldn't it be cool if one of us was trained by her?" she smiled happily. Splashpaw was fun to talk to.

Splashpaw jumped a little, "Yea! I bet he knows so much stuff. Like hunting techniques for catching foxes and fighting moves for kicking Dark Forest cats into their own realm, and stuff." He half-joked. "I wonder what he's like, I've never actually met him."

Flamepaw nodded. "That's cool, I wonder who it'll be... what if it's Hickorysmoke?!" she asked excitedly. That would be so cool if my mentor was deputy! flamepaw thought to herself.

Splashpaw nudged her, "Is he a good mentor? Mudpelt is but I think I'm his first apprentice." He frowned, "I wish he was older so he could be deputy. Do you think Brightstar will have another apprentice ever?"

Moonsong-
She padded around camp the harsh leaf bare wind ruffling her fur. She looked around for someone to talk to. She sat down and began to lick her cold paws to warm them up again. If someone wanted to talk with her, they could. She let out a long breath through her nose.

Rushstorm busily hurried around the camp doing duties which she assigned for herself. Carrying sticks along her back and in her jaws to make the nursery thicker and less cold, she looked to the side and then tripped over Moonsong's tail. "Arghhhhh!" She said in a muffled voice as the sticks clattered to the ground. "My bad." She grumbled.
