Pinefoot sat at the edge of camp and watched all the other cats hustle about.He didn't get why all of the cats were so worried about death and destruction and change. He never was bothered by change. And death and destruction has to happen for future generations. If it didn't happen, this world wouldn't exist. Pinefoot yawned and stretched. He padded over to the fresh kill pile and waiting for something to happen, or for a cat to walk up to him.

Featherclaw went to the training hollow, and watched all the cats training.She was often sad and lonely, since no cats wanted to hunt with her or be with her.She felt quite different and unwanted because of this, and of course, didn't have the guts to talk to her crush, Ashheart.

Pinefoot sighed, as a cat walked up to the kill pile, then immediatetly walked away. "I guess I'll never find someone to hang out with. He padded over to the center of the kill pile, and picked up a vole. He sat down and sighed again, then began tearing chunks off of the vole, and eating them.

Featherclaw sighed, and walked away, then saw Pinefoot eating a vole. She went over and sat next to him. "Quite a day, huh?" she said. He gave a big sigh, and began to eat a small rodent.She waited for Pinefoot to swalow his meat and answer, but was often impatient, and became a bit angered when he glared at her, and continued to eat the vole."Fine. I guess you don't want anyone by your side or to spend time with. Just because I'm a female doesn't mean that I can't be your friend." she fealt a tear roll down her cheek, and ran away to a corner of the camp. She sat down and cried.

He left his unfinished vole by the fresh kill pile, and fan over to Featherclaw. "Come on." he said. "You know it wasn't you're fault. I only glared because you keep trying to move on,and I can't tell you enough how the other cats are still bothered by it. A flood doesn't just go away. Traumau wil keep all these cats alive. Without that fear, they wouldn't care about defending the camp, and anything could come in and try to kill them, but they wouldn't care. You can't just completely move on. I'm sorry Featherclaw."
